copped both of these for

prices (always planned on buying them)

both from outlets, foam forces were $99 shipped, the "wests" were $60 in store

has anyone ever seen what the max orange really looks like? it looks more red than orange.

^not always. on some pairs (max orange air max 90 from 2002, max orange jordan 1 high, etc), it looks identical to "infrared" and on other pairs (recent griffeys, zoom hyperfuse, etc., google it), it looks more orange. Nike is not very consistent with their colors. as with anything Nike iD related, you don't really know what you're going to get until you see it in real life.
