So as well know us NTers stay smashing dimes It's inevitable that our women will get hit on, sometimes even when we are standing right next to them. How do you guys handle this?

I was out with my girl last weekend outside of a bar and she was with me. She was wearing a leather mini skirt and looking fine as usual. Two drunk guys walk buy and one of them goes, "damn look at THAT ***!". I don't blame him but it was pretty rude and I was right there so I shot him a look and said, "c'mon man." He responded with, "what are you gonna do about it?" as he was walking away. My girl and I were just laughing about it, obviously I'm not gonna fight a stranger over complimenting my girls ***, even if it was in a disrespectful manner.

So I brought this up to her last night because I was wondering what she would've thought if I didn't say anything at all.

In the past I would often go to the bathroom and come back to find another guy sitting in my barstool trying to get at my girl. Sometimes he'd have even bought her a drink. I would politely ask them for my seat back and have never had a problem. Never got in a fight with a random guy over my girl or whatever but it's something that happens and I feel like you don't say something it's weak. I was telling my girl if I saw a guy buying her a drink from the distance, I would let it happen, then slide up and claim her. But apparently, she would want me to intervene before that happens. What y'all think? Stories?

And yea, you did the right thing in that situation. Fighting would've been childish, but you have to say something IMO. A female might not admit it, but she would most likely look at you differently if you just let it slide completely. Being a protector is one of the many roles we must play as males.

I'm just saying that it has happened in the past. Yeah my girl would say something but you know some of these guys are persistent and will take that seat any way until you get back. I agree with my girl and yourself though. In the past I'd be with my boys while my ex was chilling with with her friends at the bar and when I saw her again some guy would've bought her a drink. I was fine with it because I wasn't paying. That was in college. But now, I feel like that isn't cool and I'd def want my girl turning it down and motioning for me to come over or something if dude wouldn't leave her alone.
