Yeah man with the stance he portrays to take yet still using the N word, smdh I can't deal with dude. His hidden colors documentaries are solid but other than that he lowkey is a clown!
How you can travel so much and acquire so much knowledge on black ancient history etc and still use that word is beyond me, straight mind blown!
how do get a radio show... With a speech impediment?Tariq Nasheed vs Jesse Lee Peterson -In Studio Camera Version - YouTube
Peterson has also thanked "God and white people" for slavery—adding that if it weren't for the slave trade, blacks might have never made it to the United States—and described traveling on slave ships as akin to "being on a crowded airplane".[8]

NGR is an ancient and devine word.
You seemed to have missed the whole point to my post. The word has existed before Europeans came on the scene. They didn't give us anything, we gave it to them.
It only took on a negative connotation during slavery. By taking on their definition you are giving the oppressor power over you.
At all depends on who says it and the context in which its being said. If you choose not to say it cool, but you shouldn't get so bent out of shape when another black man does. Especially when he's actually using the word in its proper context.
No you missed the point. I got all that and I know where the original word comes from and all the bastardization that's took place just like with the swastika.
My point is once the racist europeans flipped the word to demean blacks is when blacks flipped it down the line to make a cooler version of the slur NOT an offshoot of Neegus (king/god) which is what invaders and nomads used to call the Ethiopians out of respect way back when. Most people who say N**ga don't even know all this history.
Please stop reaching. I'm not responding back to nonsense.
If a racist called you King or Original Man or God or whatever and still treated you like a second class citizen or lesser than a dog, it's not the word that's important. Likewise if a black man called you King or Original Man or God while robbing you, would it make the act less heinous? We get hung up on the least important part of our problems.
If the point is to not see ourselves through the eyes of our oppressors, then it doesn't matter what we call each other as long as the meaning of the words used between us are respectful in the context they're used in. I don't go around calling everyone N but I do use the word sparingly and I listen to hip hop, so it's said when I'm repeating lyrics.
I could be wrong on this one, but I think the word isn't that important. It's like saying the f word. If my girl says she wants to ****, I don't get upset. But if someone calls me a dumb ****, of course I'm gonna take offense. I think context is important.
Makes movies about African history...
Talks about uplifting the black community...
Tries to help men regain self confidence...
Donates to various startups...
Travels to different parts of the world to expose a ****** up system...
And you worried about a word.
:\
You just proved my point and highlighted your lack of understanding. A racists is not going to call you a king nor original man then treat you like an animal, smdh that's defeating the purpose because obviously words are important.
yeah...Parent pays for your school, buys you clothes, takes you on trips but calls you stupid, loser, no good, ugly all the time.
But you not worried about those words [emoji]128527[/emoji]
