What's up SB fam?! Yeah, I litterally bought the game because Birdie was in it. I love the character but he lacks many of the tools to win/opportunities to win that MANY of the top tiers have. I'm going to just keep grinding with him though. I've got a lot to learn about this game and playing him exclusively has really taught me that. He's got big damage combos but super small windows of opportunity to make those things happen. When I play those Kens/Bisons/Karins/Rashids/Cammys I notice that my buttons get beat by their easily and they sorta bully me in the neutral. After they get in, I'm blocking and teching throws for my life, lol. I just gotta figure out how to be more offensive in different ways against those characters or pick up another character to counter those matchups.

How do you feel about Alex after the patch?

In terms of looks or gameplay.

I haven't watched any details of the mechanics but people seem to be praising it without knowing.

Good thing is though we know how good Guilty Gear is as a package so that should translate to a good game.

Hopefully it's on the show floor so we get some impressions from some FGC dudes.

The animations are the best I've seen in a non Capcom fighter in a long while.

Animation is the reason I can't get into loads of other fighters but they got it right with this one.
