Crazy he debuts this month. I just have reservations about paying all that money lol. I didn’t buy any of the third costumes, etc.

I hope Terrys second costume is his MoTW outfit.

Did Punk lose to Big Bird 10 years ago in SF4? Researching I only see he was runner up in Evo once before, losing out to Tokido.

No in terms of finals he lost to Tokido. I believe he was 16 or so at the time.

So what was the story they were trying to convey?

Esports isn’t like March Madness, World Cup, etc. 5,000 entrants is crazy. How many matches did he have to wade through to get there?

I’d imagine Menard, Angrybird, Big Bird, etc were the favorites (though Punk is always up there). Congrats to him. And hope he can win the big one at CC.
