Stockx?

I have ordered from Stock X three times. Back in 2024, Ordered the Jordan 23 Retro CNY Year of the Rabbit. The order was cancelled for it could not be fulfilled. Ended up purchasing those shoes through GOAT. The second time was, again in 2024, for the Air Jordan 38 PF FIBA (White Sole). Order fulfilled but, took about 10 days from order to delivery. My third time was January of this year for the Air Jordan 40-23 Black Stealth. This order took about 14 days for delivery. Attached is a screen shot of the price and additional costs and a picture of the shoe.

Those 40-23s are tough. I guess there’s not much to worry about with stockx. I always see prices below retail, and on shoes that are sold out near me/online being close to retail too, mostly.

That “processing fee” should be called “bs fee” or “Nike lawsuit recovery fee”

The entire concept of StockX is to facilitate a third party verification of authenticity. When you buy from StockX, you are almost always buying from another user who is posting an asking price for a pair they have. So, once you purchase, that seller has to package and ship the item to StockX. They then process the authentication (see processing fee) and ship the item to you.

It's not a quick option, but it's a fairly hassle free way to buy and sell new product when everything goes well. I've bought and sold plenty of stuff through there, and have very rarely had anything refused or sent back. One time because I sent the wrong item (my fault, sent the wrong Supreme shirt), and a couple of times because of "damaged" shoe boxes.

No service or company is perfect, fake stuff gets through sometimes, your order gets cancelled sometimes because a seller doesn't ship out in time or because an item doesn't pass verification, but it's all part of the game. GOAT and eBay also offer authenticity verification services on a lot of stuff, but none of these services are without issue.

This is the current state of StockX.

They’ve had the shoe I sold and sent to them since last week Thursday the 19th.

Still waiting for their tortoise speed authentication to happen. :nerd:

Now on day 3 today.

Despite the nonsense fees, I'll take this vs the good old days of the person you're dealing with showing up to your Craigslist meetup strapped lol

That processing fee at least to buyers was implemented during COVID to help their operations.

Like anything after COVID the processing fee was never removed, which is complete BS to buyers since it’s already being taken from the sellers.

They are essentially double dipping.
Stopped buying from Stockx and went through GOAT and Ebay

Actually went to a restaurant last week that charged $12 for a taco, then had the audacity to tack on a 4% surcharge.

Don't go to "fusion" restaurants. It's just another way of saying they take something beloved and make it more expensive.

Once again, the current state of StockX.

Still waiting for their tortoise speed authentication to happen. :nerd:

I bought silver GT Futures from StockX & they sent me a pretty badly mangled Box, I didn’t care though, I liked the shoe enough & kept them. Such a fire shoe, it’s the modern day foamposite imo. :pimp:

Once again and again. The current state of StockX.

Goons had the shoe since LAST FRIDAY! :nerd:

Still nothing hyperwallet, They are such turtoise status.

I’m about to stop using StockX & sell on another platform man. It’s too slow and I get lowballed by StockX hard asf.
Like WAAAAY LOWBALLED by StockX. :ohwell:

Any recommendations that are better to sell on than StockX??
