People need to understand how the internet engagement game works. They’re so many moving parts to it, it’s not just jumping in the mic. They figure out what to say, when to say it, what type of buzz it will create, when to follow up, etc. These people do not sell information, they sell ad revenue. Don’t forget that

All this to say, what you hear come out of people’s mouths online are completely dependent on the compensation they’ll receive from it. Haha, exactly. Couple things, 1. People post “omg stop _______” really do it for their internet benefit, and 2. They just draw MORE attention to what they claim people should stop giving attention to.

Tamika Mallory is a real activist that's on the ground getting busy so I understand what she's saying.
I think we all understand WHY SAS says what he does but we can also agree that ignorant statements by people with influence and a big platform can be dangerous as well.

Her comment is also dangerous, because a large segment of black women try to turn this into a us versus them thing.
They took about the incel behavior from black men, but it's a problem amongst black women also.
Imagine me trying to lecture black women for going to see Chris Brown. They would be outraged.

Pablo might be too nice to destroy a fellow espn employee’s career and image, but it’d be very easy for him to expose all of this to a wider audience.
