Stephen A. Smith Wylin

SAS is the last person you want helping you with suits. Man ain’t never had a decent suit on in his life.
he always brags about having expensive tom ford suits but none of them ever look good. Max Kellerman wears the same brand but his suits always looked sharp and simple.

Stephen A always popping up "oh lawd don't say that, massa might hear you" at black folks vs addressing the actual person or issue.

Empty question. We're not his audience.
With his new “platforms” it’s clear who he is catering to.

No one felt bad for him when he caught strays from LeBron on his very own Sports network.

And none of us are treating him like a venerable political pundit.

People need to understand how the internet engagement game works. They’re so many moving parts to it, it’s not just jumping in the mic. They figure out what to say, when to say it, what type of buzz it will create, when to follow up, etc. These people do not sell information, they sell ad revenue. Don’t forget that

Right now, right wing content is where the money is. That will not change for a LONG time. All this to say, what you hear come out of people’s mouths online are completely dependent on the compensation they’ll receive from it. It’s all designed to get the biggest reaction for the longest amount of time. The actual message is irrelevant and fabricated to boost those factors.

Why doesn’t old girl who posed the question ask his girl?

Or maybe she enjoys the fruits of his grifting.

Haha, exactly. Couple things, 1. People post “omg stop _______” really do it for their internet benefit, and 2. They just draw MORE attention to what they claim people should stop giving attention to.

Really just ironic.

Steven A gets money of views and engagement. His handlers will tell him what to talk about and when to talk about it based on analytics. Really not a complicated formula

Tamika Mallory is a real activist that's on the ground getting busy so I understand what she's saying.

I think we all understand WHY SAS says what he does but we can also agree that ignorant statements by people with influence and a big platform can be dangerous as well.

Because we listen to him for sports and don't care about the other nonsense.

I hate when black women do this mess.

We aren't a monolith and many of us have discernment. Cut off anyone we don't agree with? You're supposed to agree with someone 100% of the time?

When have women cut anyone off as a whole?

People need to get off the internet.

That’s a different discussion all around, but yes. Bottom line is that social media is what it is. Best bet is to get off of it. Social medias whole purpose is ad revenue. No more, no less

Her comment is also dangerous, because a large segment of black women try to turn this into a us versus them thing.

They took about the incel behavior from black men, but it's a problem amongst black women also.

Imagine me trying to lecture black women for going to see Chris Brown. They would be outraged.

She actually posted that to go along with what Willie D posted first so I don't really agree with her post being dangerous too.

So if Willie D just said something, why would she do a message to black men post?

Her audience is mostly women.
It was a question to black men since they make up a big majority of SAS's audience. I didn't get any gender war vibes from it at all.

Disingenuous.

She could have asked Mysonne. She could have asked Willie D. Any man in her life.

Her post was as self serving as the stuff SAS does. It's a rallying cry for black women.

Pablo might be too nice to destroy a fellow espn employee’s career and image, but it’d be very easy for him to expose all of this to a wider audience.
