Stephen A. Smith Apologizes about Domestic Violence Views

Those tweets are so childish and unprofessional.

Whatever happened to talking issues out with a coworker behind closed doors rather then airing them out and trying to ridicule and embarass them?

Why is this topic such a hot debate?

Like what's going on in the world that men putting their hands on women is actually a "debate" right now?
because there are a select group of people that are saying "hold on... Beating women is bad... And we all agree... But what about when its reversed? Or provoked?"

Ex: my momb comes home with a black eye... I'm kicking *** no questions...

Now... My momb comes home with a black eye because she poked a dude in the eye for an hour straight...

I'm kicking *** no questions... But km firing my momb up for poking him in the eye

Which was another part of the discussion on Twitter. Her sheer unprofessional behavior. People were hoping that she wouldn't get Smith fired for her tweets. Instead of being a professional and pulling him to the side when you saw him, you attempted to publicly shame him. If he didn't have more pull at the network than she does, he'd have been gone. If I was someone who worked with her, I wouldn't be able to trust her for the fact that she aired her grievances in a public forum. Then she attempted to take the high road by retweeting people who were calling her out and disagreeing with her. She's a year or two away from her old, overrated *** being replaced by the next young blonde.

I can't stand Screaming A Smith...

but I don't see anything wrong with what he said.

Can't stand Beadle and her horrible plastic surgery now.

beadle is an idiot and always acts like a child. The nt wrestling thread needs to do something to rustle her jimmies again.

someone send DC at her again

He's the junkyard dog of NT.

His main "mistake" was using the word provoke. Of course we know what he meant, but that's giving ammunition to people with an agenda.

By saying provoke in a fairly broad statement, he allowed people like Beadle to use any outlandish example as a woman provoking a man( ex saying the wrong thing etc)

Exactly and everybody saying we know what he meant but someone out there who got abused isn't thinking rational is going to hear provoke (which is a trigger word) and automatically conclude it was their fault. Even if it's not what he meant when you're on a national stage you have to do better with sensitive subjects.

The fact the vast majority of her co-workers can't even tolerate her says a lot about her though. She a) always wants the spotlight and b) seems to play victim/fakes "making a stand" a lot.

This is all that ***** Michelle Beadle's fault, she is the one to blame for all of this.  Stephen A. Smith SHOULDN'T have apologized, although I know he did so because wants to keep his job that is why he did it.  I'm almost certain that if a white male ESPN counterpart said what SAS said Beadle would not have said one thing.  She played SAS for a fool and others fools went along for the ride.  She had an agenda and SAS was her pawn of choice.  All SAS pretty much said is that no one should put their hands on another person.

The person who should apology for all of this is Michelle Beadle.  This is what happens when folks gas up an extra average female, they start pulling stunts like this and people just go along for the ride just in hopes of trying to get some T&A.  Some of the executives at ESPN should have put Beadle in her place for the picture she posted with her in blackface a few months ago.  Hopefully all of the black employees at ESPN put her on blast for what she did even back then and make her apologize for that.

That's for decent human beings.  Beadle is a piece of s***

.

The fact that she was only retweeting the negative responses let me know what kind of person she is...

Like... Respond to the people that were having legitimate, well thought responses.

Not the guys cursing you out. Smh

She'll probably get some kind of punishment from ESPN. They don't like it when employees call out/feud with other employees publicly. But they aren't going to do it right away because well it just adds fuel to the fire.
