Get in the habit of setting a schedule.  If you plan on working out before work or after work, keep showing up at the same time.  It'll help you get back into the habit of exercising at a gym.
 
How often do you dudes take breaks? I haven't touched a weight in all of May. I have worked out here and there but May was time I just gave my body a much needed rest.

I think in general we neglect rest because we are almost like machines. Going hard 5X a week for 6-7 months at a time. Rest is important. Long term rests. But I know folks have goals so this might be nonsense to some of you.

Well true, but youre in the habit of exercising.

Once the habit is formed, going to the gym at different times is a fantassticccc idea.

My gym time schedule

-8 to 11am, Cougars and trophy wives

-12 to 5pm, Late twenties as long as early thirties plus catching all the cougars that come in form work around 3-5.

-5pm and on, College chicks all over the place.




I love my gym, hands down one of the best spots in the in LA. We have multiple porn starts that come in.
 
Speaking of porn stars. Last year i was in Spain for a holiday. Wanted to work out a little bit so went to some local gym. Went inside and saw Belladonna there working out. After that i couldn't concentrate at all because all i kept thinking was Belladonnas butthole flicks.
 
I can't work out before like 3 pm...I mean I have but I don't prefer it. I feel better lifting later.

When I am done w college I don't think I could ever be one of those lift-before-work guys.

Speaking of that, actually......guys in here with real jobs/responsibilities, when do you lift on a work day? Before, after? During your lunch break

Returning from another weekend bender. Why do I continue to do this to myself and my body. Anyone else live my kind of lifestyle? Body is a temple Monday through Friday evening and then just get wrecked on the weekends?

I prefer lifitng after work as it gives me something to do and keeps me out of trouble.
 
yeah i have gone thru some of that the last few years especially. that's why i've taken periodic breaks from drinking/drugs. but i get so bored if i'm going out and not drinking sometimes

I workout after for the most part.. or, if I know I can't go in the evening, I will go at 5am..5am is a struggle though.. I don't feel as strong in the am..

   I work out after work, which is around 4 in the afternoon.

That's why I stopped drinking. I don't go out as much and when I do, I don't drink. I've saved a lot of money and my body feels great. Only time I would drink is if I'm on vacation or some special occasion.

The worst is how you wake up the next morning, abs looking all cut up from the alcohol-induced dehydration.
I still fall for that optical illusion damn near every time.
 
Anyone use Gravity Boots before? A friend of mine ordered them for *!+## and giggles, and we are going to try them out tomorrow at the park. Hoping to get a great ab workout in with them.

had the same problem as you. balling decreases a lot of mass. it all depends on what youre doing though. 
 
I don't comprehend how people work out early morning either. 

I'm usually at the gym by 9 pm after 12 hour work days.

It just irritates me seeing all the kids in the gym $+$+#%% around when I know they've been sleeping and scratching  their balls all day.
