Stay/Get Back In Shape.... Vol 2.0

Hey what's good team fitness?

What's the BEST way to cut belly fat? (Or just to slim down a little... I've been really watching what I eat recently)

Also, I want to get bigger in the chest area.... Is bench pressing the way to go? Thanks in advance.

I want my thunder thighs gone

I'm not a fan of pop chips, they're ok though. Anyone else like Pirate's Booty (pause)?

and run pretty much.. yes focus on your benchpress you can add isolation movements like flies and stuff too.. good that you adjusted your diet. it would help you burn off fat and improve your overall physique if you added other compounds like deadlifts and squats but hey you wanna big chest benchpress

also for all you jack3d  fans sale on gnc may end tonight idk but comes out to 35 shipped for two tubs i think

good deal and id hop on it but jack3d stopped working for me

I have dat mass, it's disproportional with my body and sometimes I think all my food just goes to my butt/lower stomach. Best routine of getting rid of dat mass?

Anyway, I feel like progress pics are in order for all of us. It's the middle of summer and I am pretty cut up right now. Just looking at the mirrors in the gym gives me a raging boner (which is hard to hide).

This work out is NOT for beginners. I barely qualified... maybe my weights were just too high.
shock workout AFTER hypertrophy workout AFTER strength workout though?

I hacked a lung after my second "triset" at the end of the workout.

You just gotta choose lighter weight i guess. Its supposed to do that each time tho...but im in my 5th week and I can work through it.
and CasperJr..it all depends on ya height and weight. find a good BMR calculator then adjust it accordingly. You multiply that by how active you are..then subtract around 500 calories.

I was looking at that last night. I'm not a beginner at all, but I think I'll stick just to the strength section for a little while until I feel like I can handle the next steps.

To the dude who asked about the best way to burn off fat, try a multitude of HIIT exercises because those generally tend to burn fat more efficiently and effectively than extremely long spurts of cardio. The most important thing is that it also causes less muscle loss which tends to happen when you go on, say a 4-5 mile run. I like to mix up my interval training but I'll do things like, 100 meter dash sprints going all out for about 5 times, huge stairs in a local park with two 25 pound dumbbells, or a circuit including knee raises, burpees and jump squats and lunges. All of these have given me some progress and are intense bursts of fat burning exercise. The key is to mix it up, try different things and see what works for you and what you are able to take.

prrs??
the article is way too in depth.. it gives you the exact routine at the bottom. zero planning

it took me about an hour... same as every other routine.

I need some new gym gear. I wear a nike dry fit shirt to help me keep dry/comfortable.. but it's basically skin tight so I feel like a huge douche. Ive tried wearing a hanes white tee over top but i get soooo damn hot.

Not letting me quote you, but this is the article- http://forum.bodybuilding...showthread.php?t=6398381

Basically, from what i understood/read(didn't read it all) first week just rest and figure out your max, kind of a reset week. 2nd week max with low reps, alot of rest; 3rd week high reps, same amount, 2min rest; 4th shock(didn't understand how he explained it). 5th Rest a week/recovery workout, and repeat cycle with more intensity/weight/change-workouts.

He also adds, an advanced version for more experienced lifters.

I'm definitely am not ready for it, maybe in a couple months i'll try it. The reviews on it are mostly pretty good except with a couple of people.

Any of you get night sweats?? I notice I've been getting them regularly since I've been doing HIIT more often. Is it just my metabolsim kicking up? I've been having trouble gaining weight since doing HIIT too. I've been getting stronger and bigger every week, but no real weight gain. I do stay very lean though. I also eat right before bed because I'm hungry all the time now. I've been eating A LOT more too. Should i cut down on the cardio? I like being able to stay this lean though. The night sweats are kind of killing my sleep though. I wake up having to throw the blankets off, then having to put them back on when I cool down, then back off again when I start getting sweaty again.

If you don't want to sacrifice taste and have a little money to spend, go with the baked Kettle chips. Yes, those tasty $$% kettle chips brand come in baked form. Hard to find, but it taste pretty much the same as the regular ones but with substantially less fat. I *%!+# with multigrain chips though....

Damn dude... hopefully I'm not jumping in the deep end here but I'm just going along with this program. I choose my weights accordingly to make sure I can finish all the reps. Over time I shall add weight to each exercise.
