I have said, and will continue to say, this **** isn't that hard.

They hurt themselves by continuing to work in the same 30-40 year era.

Star Wars can be timeless. 100 years back, 100 years forward, you can go any route.

Example:
Old Republic era film. May 2025
Mandalorian era film. Dec 2025

Thrawn origin story film. May 2026
Ahsoka era film. Dec 2026

New Jedi Order film set 100+ years after RotJ. May 2027
Old Republic sequel. Dec 2027

Mandalorian-Ahsoka mashup film. May 2028
Thrawn sequel. Dec 2028

New Sith origin story (Bane type new character) May 2029
Jedi order sequel. Dec 2029

You can use characters from multiple eras. Adapt/adopt various pieces like using Bane or Reven or creating separate characters based off them. You can use Mando and Ahsoka to randomly bring in Anakin or Obi Wan etc, but not singularly focus on them (for the 20th+ time) And then create new characters for New Jedi order 100+ years out, and if it were me, use an Alien invasion type story to introduce it all. (Vong)

No more senate meetings. No more Palpatine centric stories. Use them as legends told or name drops but no Vader's distant great grandson or whatever stupid mechanism.

Sith, Jedi, Mandalorians, Chiss, Vong, Hutts, can be ANY era. Not the same damn guys we've been watching for 40+ years.

Glad season 2 of Ahsoka happens after the Mando movie. There's still some stories to tell in the "Ahsoka lane" so I don't need a Din/Grogu/Ahsoka ensemble movie just yet. It would've been too soon to kill off Thrawn already anyway.

Now just find a way to put some respek on Boba's name again

My problem with this is that, ultimately, anything that comes out of that show will not be canon, right? I can't be bothered with that. Maybe it's just me, but I want all their resources to be dedicated to canon stories that affects the entire universe.

Making Finn a jedi in a what if would be 100% the wrong move unless they make him like a dark jedi in canon continuity.

But honestly like I've said before I want the sequel trilogy to be heavily retconned if not completely wiped away.

That’s why they shouldn’t have opened this Pandora’s box. Any good fan service will only make folks angrier that it’s not actual canon. And then it kinda becomes a “what’s the point?”

Nah you can do a what if right.

It just has to be unlikely or unthought of what ifs or very simple stuff that they would never actually do

Not stuff ppl want to see like Mace Windu being alive.

They should probably start with Jar Jar being a Sith Lord;

What if the Sith no longer followed the rule of 2 (post Darth Bane)? What if Qui Gon didn’t die? What if Luke really turned to the dark side? What if Rey turned to the dark side? What if a united Mandalore warred with the Empire? What if Thrawn was around to take over the Empire? What if Palpatine won again? What if Obi Won and Yoda didn’t die?, What if Han Solo died in the original trilogy (like Ford wanted)?, etc.
