Have any books, even the comics, you’d recommend?

*Cracks knuckles* :lol

I am so not the right person to ask if you are uninterested in the EU. I literally swear by that piece of the franchise.

In terms of books, check the 2nd post in spoiler. I have the entire EU list.

Heir to the Empire is the first book that was released of the new era. That was the first of a trilogy and completely carried the franchise before Lucas came back for the prequels.

Heir is the reason we're here tonight.

Start with that trilogy. If you like them, ping me and we can discuss further books. Any time.
I've read 90% of that list, only stuff I didn't was the X-Wing series.

don't know why I didn't see this already when I posted earlier:lol:. All this is telling me is that if it was done before it can be done again. George said originally in legends that the main characters can't die so they made copy cats.

That being said if they can't make Kyle Katarn solely based on name similarity to Kylo they can use Dash Rendar from Shadow of The Empire if they need another smuggler rogue type. I would say Andor would fit but he was there at Hoth. If anything he could replace Harrison Ford as THAT guy since he's aged out.

Enoch's mask:pimp: giving Holy Roman Empire vibes.

Solid EP, but after the last couple, seemed kinda "slow" even tho it wasn't.

Ezra is fighting lightsabers.........without a lightsaber. My dude force pushed a full lightsaber swing......what the ****? :lol

The space mine field was definitely a Thrawn touch.

They already showin him playin the long game. :hat

Tough them mentioning Leia but can't have her appear. :(
3P0 was ok, but please stop dipping into that well.

I swear, I want Thrawn to walk into those senate meetings and drop nukes. Buncha idiots.

When he shows up tho, gonna be great chaos. (And likely a movie?)

I'd be ok with just a Thrawn show. But I figure we woulda had that by now.

Enjoyed the finale but really felt like a filler EP til the movie. (Or S2)

Nothing was finalized. Just Thrawn/Ezra back in the galaxy. (Which is awesome, but still)

Ezra still handy with a saber. :hat

Uh oh Sabine suddenly super powered........and using blasters. :lol

It's good they keep makin room for Hayden. I don't know if it's truly needed, but it's good to see him be a part of more projects.

So……….

Baylan = Brother
Sabine = Sister
Ahsoka = Father

Maybe why we don’t see them in universe proper by the time the sequels happen 🤷‍♂️

Also what are the odds that Ezra ends up with Luke now that he’s back in the main galaxy?

Force gods, They were the Statues at the end

:lol

Ok, whew. I thought when he said Ahsoka = father I was like what in the 2023..... did I miss some signs? :lol

Ok, that I can see where he's coming from.

Ahsoka has the sister’s essence so to speak in her already so that’s a given. I think Anakin would translate to the father as he was asked to take his place by the father and refused in Clone Wars. Baylan doesn’t come off as dark side enough to be the son. Maybe he gets killed by the “son” on his path to whatever goal he is seeking.

Anakin as father makes total sense actually…He trained Ahsoka to be a master Jedi (Sister), and Baylan ~fell~ because of Anakin’s actions (Brother)…You can say he feathered both of them in that context…Meanwhile he himself balanced the force when he killed the emperor…

Now the force is leaning dark with Thrawn returning to reestablish the Empire…They even gave us the visual representation of that by showing the Sister statue being destroyed…There’s a void that isn’t being filled on the light side as things stand…

Best bet is that it’s the dark side itself that’s beckoning Baylan so that it can corrupt him to the point of ensuring that it’s essence remains in power…The void that’s left by the absence of Sister is clearly leaning towards Ahsoka filling things out…Daddy Anakin pushed her fully light side earlier in the season FWIW…So dark side is becoming Baylan, while Anakin is trying to balance it out by pushing Ahsoka into the Sister role…

Filoni showed us the destroyed statue, the owl, and a happy Anakin that transitions into sadness because he knows the burden that Ahsoka is going to have to carry…

Loved the series, loved all the characters, my favorite was Sabine and im glad she worked for those Force Powers.

I wonder why her helmet is red in the show intros? It’s usually foreshadowing. I mean she is the risk taker of the group.

I stopped taking those seriously after Mando S3

Even in Ahsoka, Marroks Helmet is Blue

Its possible, but I wouldnt take those intros seriously anymore

What I'm really interested in would be an even deeper Anakin conversation than what we got.

Did he regret becoming Vader?
Did he regret not listening to Obi Wan?
All those years as Vader, did he not realize Palpatine had lied to him?
He became Vader to save Padme, and she immediately died, so why didn't he kill Palps?
Why is he meeting with Ahsoka, but not Luke?

They have opened this door to have Hayden return, I'd love for them to offer up a few scenes along those lines, not being him back to the Clones Wars era.

And if we go into a film that includes everyone (Mando, Boba, Grogu, Ahsoka, Thrawn, Ezra etc) I wonder if he appears in that as well. It's been a positive reception show wise, I gotta believe it would hit movie wise.
