Watching episode 1, not going to lie Jar Jar missed an opportunity to join Olympic dive team. Son dove in the water with no diving board.

Also Qui Gon sure was a borderline gray Jedi. Son was bending the rules left and right. Wouldn’t have been surprised if he cut down Watto if Anakin lost the race.

Yeah that’s the Movie they announced at Celebration. It’s basically going to be the Avengers movie for the tv show characters. It’s years away tho

Wraps up the shows too right? Seems like The Mandalorian can keep going, but I know Ahsoka has to be offed eventually and wouldn't be surprised if Din's journey ends then too.

Oh **** I missed the title detail or purposely blacked out so I could be surprised again I knew of the movie and the convergence of Mando + Ahsoka series. Idc how long it takes, as long as it's done in the way Filoni wants.

Heir to the Empire is almost as big as Empire Strikes Back in terms of importance to Lucasfilm.

Those novels came when no mention of prequels even existed. They led to DOZENS of Novels and a huge library of Star Wars development.

It was terrible of Disney to de-canon them, but I do understand it was easier to clean up and blank slate them.

But Disney been pullin from Legends the entire time.

Thrawn is that.

lawdog1 - to add onto CPs post, the Heir to the Empire is a nod to the first book in Timothy Zahns Thrawn trilogy.

They were for a time thought as THE sequel trilogy and introduced characters like Thrawn and Mara Jade

Seeing that artwork on the book was the first stuff I saw outside of the Original Trilogy, at Barnes and Nobles, which is making a comeback btw.
