Season is on track to be an all-time great season of TV. Not everything needs to be laugh out loud funny. Hell, man, that Kenny scene at the end was heartbreaking.

have not laughed all season. a couple chuckles here and there, but not belly laughs. ep wasn't bad though, just wasnt funny. the commercials were money though.
what was being referenced, out like of gentrification, is there a real life counterpart to that community name they created? i kept trying to think the name was a play on words, but i wasn't seeing it

There probably is a neighborhood in Denver that has some dumb name like that, but ultimately, no matter what city, those types of neighborhoods have generic names based on their geography. The thing is, it's not like this is some new phenomenon. SoHo in NYC stands for "South of Houston". That's it. And it's been called that for a long time. NYC is full of that stuff, like Tribeca (Triangle Below Canal) and Nolita (North of Little Italy).
Seattle has a SoDo neighborhood, but it used to stand for "South of the (King)Dome". It's industrial and nobody lives there. That got awkward when the Kingdome was demolished, so now it stands for South of downtown. Even that doesn't make sense because there's another neighborhood (not to mention two stadiums) between Downtown and SoDo (Pioneer Square).
