i just cant get with giving my friend money for them working. if they really helped me out, then i would pay it back some other way like drinks, dinner or such.
You should offer it....work is work bro....specially if the service your friend is providing is no amateur *** for example I charge 600$ for a maternity session, good friend of mine is pregnant and asked me for pics, I shot her for 3 hours, at then end she pulled out a stack of cash and I declined it, but her gesture was more than enough payment for me....the fact she showed respect for my time and work was all I needed....I wouldn't had said anything if she didn't offer, but I can't front like it wouldn't have felt foul....we ended up going out to eat after and she covered the bill....you gotta learn to ***** the situation and act accordingly, I'm starting to think dudes who are so stubborn about a stupid tip, have some sort of social assessment issue....like their stubbornness/cheapness or whatever can't let them step outside the box and see if he'll this barber treated me really well and hooked me up, I know they have a normal fee, but let me throw in a few extra bucks he can pocket....is it gonna break my bank? Most likely not.
