SNL 40 : Saturday Night Live 40 Year Anniversary Special

Norm macdonald was tweeting about Eddie earlier. He said that originally they wanted Eddie to have a bigger role and for him to be Cosby in the Jeopardy sketch instead of Kenan and it would've been a bigger part of the segment.

And the SNl people had been going back and forth with Brett Ratner as a middleman. But ultimately Eddie turned it down, because he didn't feel right kicking a man( cosby) when he's down

Which makes sense because when you look back to David Spade and Co and how they made fun of Eddie. Why be a hypocrite

according to Norm Macdonald, Eddie didn't wanna impersonate Bill Cosby, that's why he just came out and said what the show meant to him ...

"(Murphy) knew the laughs would bring the house down. Eddie Murphy knows what will work on SNL better than any one (sic)," Macdonald said on Twitter. "Eddie decides the laughs are not worth it. He will not kick a man when he is down."
