Should a child molester win the lottery and keep his fortune?

How is it that a felon can still win the lotto, but not be unable to vote?

When money is power?

Also, when people get convicted of federal white collar crimes, do they too lose their right to vote?

Felons can often regain the right to vote after their sentence is complete (including probation) - http://www.nonprofitvote.org/voting-as-an-ex-offender/

But thats neither here nor there. The lottery is a money making tool, period. Voting is not in the same category as the lottery.

Unless the lottery has some moral clause I don't know about then yes he should.

I'm pretty sure other ppl who have won it have a criminal record. I'm pretty sure a convicted murderer has shared in lottery winnings at some point.

The lottery has never been about who deserves to win or not. It's federal and state sanctioned gambling.
