Its amazing that people think Nike uses “high, higher quality” anything when making a shoe.
Makes sense given the vast majority of Nike releases are trash quality. GR dunks, Mids, GR AF 1s, etc. etc.Its amazing that people think Nike uses “high, higher quality” anything when making a shoe.

2015 SBBs are definitely an exception to that.
I've never seen or held the 2015's in person. But I would rate these in 7.8/10 on buttery scale. How are they on the buttery scale?
I mean, aside from Coca-Cola and Apple, Nike probably has the best marketing of any major corporation in the world. Nobody buys Nike products for the quality. New Balance and other brands provide far better quality at comparable or even cheaper retail price-points tbh. They reason Nike/JB are so successful is that they are able to increase profit margins-releasing lower quality products and increasing retail prices is what has made them successful. If they were still selling Korean-made Air Jordans like they were in 1985, there is no way they would be able to move as many pairs as they do now and still have the profit margins they have with these Indonesian-made releases. Are you saying Nike isn't like Wendy's, where quality is their recipe?
Nike sent me some B grades lol, shape all wonky, glue stains and globs, i could see silver sharpie on the back tab lmaoo.I feel like it’s a lot of nitpicking in here
Very unhappy with the 2 pairs I ordered, shouldve just went to the mall smh
Definitely a pair that people are sleeping on.Just arrived fresh from Indonesia. These are nice! Will post final laced up photos soon.

Would you also agree on my 7.8/10 rating?
Same.I’ve never had the pleasure of holding the buttery OG ‘15 pair likeDavey Magoo has, so I can’t attest to that exactly. But these are damn nice.
Same.
Have you ever seen or held the 2017 Royal or 2018 Shadow though? The quality is like those IMO.
It’s funny to me when so-called leather experts continue to think softer leather means better leather LOL.
These folks must not have been around or don’t remember shoes from the 80s and 90s when the harder, thicker leather was prevalent on a lot Jordans that were meant to be used on the hardwood
Peep what Nightwing says in the first minute of this video and enlighten yourselves
Just fyi, the leather on the 2025 White Cement 4s is the BEST leather on 4s since the OG’s. And everyone who is saying it’s stiff and hard therefore it sucks have absolutely no clue what they’re saying.
I owned three different color ways of the OG’s in ‘89 and played in them in H.S. so I definitely would make a proper and accurate testimonial.
I owned the 2015 OG SBB’s and the 2025 is a close comparison. In fact I might even like the 2025 even better overall, just gotta put em on feet and rock em for a a couple months before I give the final verdict.
So why didn’t they simply use the WC3 quality leather on these SBBs?Just fyi, the leather on the 2025 White Cement 4s is the BEST leather on 4s since the OG’s.
Really happy that the new version is available to anyone who wants a pair.I’ve never had the pleasure of holding the buttery OG ‘15 pair likeDavey Magoo has, so I can’t attest to that exactly. But these are damn nice.

Super cool looking shoe, regardless of material.
I personally love the feel of the ultra smooth, buttery leather on the 2015s. But that doesn’t mean they’re the be all/end all of JB leather.
Just personal preference.
Nike will cut as much costs as they can while giving the impression they are improving quality. So why didn’t they simply use the WC3 quality leather on these SBBs?
They already cut costs by manufacturing these in Indonesia instead of China.
