Looks like they used more of a white leather then cream like the OGs and the orange looks a little off. ****** they didn't try to do a more premium leather on them since you know, they know, about the mythical status of the OG leather.

EDIT- after watching Zs video, to me the colors look off by quite a bit. Especially the orange. I love 1s so I'll probably get them but these aren't as close to the SBB 1.0s we all thought we were getting in my opinion.

I'm not going to nit pick them, long as they are at least as good as your average AJ1 quality wise and attainable for retail, I am happy. I'm just glad Davey has a reason to feel justified with paying resell prices on used OGs so we don't have to hear him crying about it on every page.

For me a huge part of the allure of the original SBB was the materials. I remember doing everything I could to get them but failed. A work colleague did grab them in and I saw the material and it was unlike any other Jordan 1 at the time. It has to be remembered that these came out at the start of the whole remastered era of the Jordan 1, the first being the fragments.

Seeing that the material on the upcoming pair isn’t as good expected but still hugely disappointing

I don't think I've personally bought a release, so far, with materials as good as the original SBB.

Jordan Brand took out Superbowl ads to push out a small amount of Jordan 1 black/reds. I don’t think promotion automatically equates to a lot of pairs anymore.

Doubt they'll be as plentiful as the White Cement 4s, but 55K is laughable.
