I seen a few insiders on ig, say that these will be somewhat limited. Not super limited, but they won’t be the regular GR numbers, that a lot of people will be expecting. So the debate, about if these are on the OG level won’t mean anything, once the release happens, because everyone will be going after these, no matter what our opinions about them are.

No. The leather isn't as good as the original release, so now people don't want em.
1s Hype is also in the gutter currently.
I'm still copping.

Colors a slightly off leathers not as good, they're tryin to build hype on em but I think if you put in a lil work you'll be good. Im grabbing them, but definitely disappointed in them when compared to the OG

The materials weren't all that on the OG's. Soft ball sack leather was making everyone go crazy at the time. And the leather was soft but damn people are acting like they were handcrafted or something. AJ 1 hype is dead. Point. Blank. Period. And most people who bought AJ 1's these past 10 years are hypebeast. So they will justify other reasons, but that's the true reason why.

For those of you who have the original release, is the leather quality THAT much better than the typical release? Or was it just among the best we'd see on an AJ1 at that time?

These released same day as TD 350 and the instores made you choose. Sad to say the choice I made now....

Just softer than the typical release to me. Nothing amazing. The real Banned 1's are actually the best leather release of the past 15 years IMO.

They only got pushed up in Europe, I read nothing about them being pushed up here. If that's the case, then that shock drop would be for Europe only.

Ehh that's stupid but wouldn't surprise me. No biggie wasn't worried bout getting em just figured if there was a shock drop I could get them done and outta the way to focus on others. Appreciate the info
