RIP Nipsey Hussle

If Obama thought like you he’d never been president. It’s so disheartening to see young black people fail to recognize the power they have over their own lives. So what the playing field is stacked, it’s always been that way but black still made it here! I’m amazed you guys love Nipsey so much, but won’t even see the example he set forth for you:smh: he didn’t let white supremacy dictate his success neither should any black person
While Obama is my dude, he is a horrible example to use. He is not, I repeat NOT, the descendant of African slaves in America.

That said, even Obama understood the pitfalls of being Black in america. He understands law, and he saw first hand that while President, he still was just another negro to be kept in check, while on the plantation that is america. Trump, the orange sphincter, is rolling back every law, every service, that Obama left in place. Trumps actions prove that no matter how high you fly in America, you are still just a negro. The system of oppression must be dismantled.

Your suggestion is like White privilege will simply disappear, because you go to school and be a good boy. Get a grip

son just thought you a mark, Dre beats being "red" is stupid considering folks ain't tripping over colors.

Son specifically told me "bro where you from"
Me: I don't bang
Him: oh I saw you with some red. You know where you at"
Me: yeah
HimH "Alright you good" And the goofball walked off.

Some people are still on the dumb ****, colors involved.

Where are you from? Are you the descendant of African Slaves in America?
I ask this because it makes a difference in regard to the perspective you may have. I respect people of African descent who take the immigrant mindset approach of hard work to achieve success, but that is simply a ruse as well. There are limits as to what you can do here, even as an immigrant.
Yes!
Came from a single mother who worked hard raising six children. My neighborhood repped Hoover as long as I could remember. Had homeboys killed by other homies, police, and rival sets.
My neighborhood still impoverished and heavily policed.
My brother is strung out on drugs and alcohol. I lost a niece to the pimp game. I’ve been jumped, shot at, robbed, assaulted by the police. My hands aren’t clean by any stretch, but I was determined to give myself something different.
I’m no better than the homeless man at my corner store, but I want better for my people.
We use to be unified in this country as black people during a time much worse than this so don’t tell me the circumstances are too tough to get over.
You are preaching exactly what the white supremacist want you to preach “discouragement”
We lose before we even start.
Y’all brothers gotta wake up!

One of the tricks that america plays on people is to allow what you do for a living, to define you. What you do for a living does not make you succesful in life.

lol
If you want to do better for your people, if you want your people to do better, if you want inspire anyone, you'd better learn how to LISTEN to people first.
Your failure is not unlike any other. Bill Cosby had the same message, look at him now.

I like the “you choose _______ and you choose _____ and you.....” blah blah blah and then reveal they had some rough upbringing that they did NOT choose to have yet STILL don’t understand what people are telling them. Hilariously ironic

I’m not sure why I’m going back and forth with you, but I’ll engage.
Pointing out Bill Cosby’s transgressions doesn’t invalidate what he has done for the black community. It’s not a myth he created a positive representation of the black family for America to see, raised millions of dollars for black colleges, given scholarships to black children, created opportunities for black actors and actresses.
By the very fact that you find joy in bringing up his current situation brings great pleasure to white supremacy.
This tactic has been used against blacks as early as 1945. Propaganda has been used against the likes of people like Dr. King, the Panthers, NAACP, and Minster Farrakhan.
You claim to be black yet here you are using it against Obama and Bill Cosby. The enemy doesn’t have to do anything anymore he’s mastered getting you to do his bidding for him.

So my question about gangs wearing rival colors wasn’t so silly. How long ago did this happen?

I said it was situational. It's not nearly as common but some ***** still be on it. This happened around 2012 or 2013. I was still in community college

Everything I did harmful to my community was MY CHOICE!!!
You haven’t heard me use it as an excuse once! I fully grasp what you are saying I just refuse to buy it as an excuse to be better than we are.

It seems that there is plenty that flies above your head, and there is a major reason for it. Mostly, it has everything to do with how you view what being successful means.
So what was your solution?
You got $300 headphones but somehow are being held back by white supremacy?
Help me understand
Freedom for you means to be able to buy things.
You could have been a man and just answered my question the same way I answered yours but I digress.
You also define yourself as a man through the standards of others.

Pardon me if I no longer wish to debate with a fool.

But you want to ask everyone else what ethnic background, but can’t answer a question as simple as what you do for a living?
It seems as if you equate the price of race, with that of occupation. I hate to break it to you, but they are not equal in this discussion, no matter what racism tells you.
