Nah definitely not, they’re in 2 different situations and tryna do different things tho so it’s not really comparable anyway

These dudes did have a few lil weird interactions a couple years ago tho. _’s exchanging words backstage at events and ****.

Then 2 years ago Nast, Ian Connor and a few other Mob members went OD hard on IG and Twitter about Travis Scott stealing all their swag. _’s was posting comparison pics of him and Rocky in similar outfits, video rants and all kinda **** :smh:

It was funny tho cause like a week or two later Bari posts a pic of Rocky and Travis together at Fashion Week on some “we good” type ****

Yea i don't think any of this is based on the music, but more on the aesthetic & "lifestyle" that A$AP popularized & they may have a bit of a point. It seems like a minor thing considering these are two rappers, but again when talking about the main demo that these two attract. this might as well be stealing a ****** style sonically.

With that said Rocky down played it then so i don't think they on it like that

A Travis/Rocky beef would be

Them dudes ain't built to make no diss records. They would have to fashion each other to death.

I'm one of the few that thinks if it was necessary Rocky could probably hold his own in an actual rap beef if it came down to it. Don't think it will ever get to that point but Rocky isn't the same as a Travis, Uzi, Rich Da kid etc etc. who basically fully rely on melody.

Rocky doesn’t rely fully on melody but his flow carries him, he don’t really have bars like that but they’re def more than good enough for this climate

I think that’s why the fans aren’t feeling these loosies and saying he fell off etc the bars are basically the same level but they not really getting that 36/Bone flow from him right now. I imagine he saving all that stuff for the album

Damn M.A. really lost all that weight, that’s a good look for her

Ready to see what that Flatbush Zombies project sounding like, their promo run has been pretty good

Depending the artist, would the current sound of NY hip hop be considering pandering, culture vulturing, or paying homage?

Also would the prominent rappers from the South be "essentially" NY artists?
