Ot is needed sometimes because we’re just too far out to come back and finish another day but these mf’er will sit for 45 minutes not doing anything looking at Snapchat.

it’s inefficient as hell, that’s why I just leave and handle my business. You’ll be alright you’re just watching reels anyways.

I have zero anger towards anyone who can work from home, being in person doesn’t mean anything for productivity.

Blue collar jobs? I work for USPS. And have for 10+ years now. But what does that have to do with anyone else’s ability to WFH? If I’m not lucky enough to have that privilege, should I be mad at those who do?

My job has hella other perks besides the opportunity to WFH. You’ll never catch me trying to hinder the next human from as little time in an office because my job doesn’t allow it. I want everyone to win at life, and it’s clear that A LOT of people feel like being made to come into an office to be unproductive 5 days/week isn’t working.

So tell me what else don’t I get?

Yeah that isn't the argument I was trying to make but sure that's my bad for going on a separate tangent about something unrelated. I agree 100% if someone can get everything done at home I see no reason they shouldn't be allowed to. I'm fortunate enough to have the flexibility to do so most days in my main job and a boss who's perfectly fine with it.

You can easily get thousands of applicants for each remote job posting. Hybrid seems to be the standard these days. I’m super lucky my organization really bought into remote work during the pandemic and decided to stick to it. I turned down a hybrid role that offered 40% more to stay here. Though that’s not the only reason.

I'm hybrid.

Required to be in the office 3 days a week. I make Mondays and Fridays my WFH days. I'll sprinkle in a couple 4 day WFO weeks here and there. I'm content.

Clocked in, drove an hour in a dump truck while 3 others followed getting 4 mpg

Got lied to about the job being ready when it wasn’t. We all sat on the clock 2 more hours while they figured out another job we could go to.

It’s now noon and just started working

Productivity.
