At this point in my eyes she's a full blown pop artist. She's like flo rida and pitbull. This became solidified soon after her showing or lack thereof in this "battle". She can never claim "queen of rap" or even try to be on some super hip hop ****. It's a dub for that.

I think this is the point most folks are missing, although when she came out she was a rapper she not that kind of artist anymore. Nicki a pop star who raps, her fan base mostly consist of people who couldn't pick out Remy Ma of a line up with they mama's lives on the line. She ain't been that New York chick she claim to be for quite some time, the people she would win over still ain't gon buy her album

supposedly he had a record ready to go, but thing that really worked against meek was he doing way too much reacting via the social media in the space between the 2 drake joints and finally releasing the response...it ended up being anti climactic

To me the difference is that hardly anyone heard the Budden diss towards Drake....or at least not as many people have heard and are currently talking about sh-Ether. The song and conversations about it are everywhere. There's simply no escaping this diss to Nicki and she will constantly be asked or bombarded about it for her next couple of hip hop interviews or radio guests shows she's on.

I understand this and I'm not sure why it's like this to be honest. When Budden did it, radio stations and other places called Budden corny and desperate for attention. It's not rap fans, majority of us in here could give a **** about Nicki's albums or music.

If you wanna go by what Carmen said......make sure you include how she described how upset and heartbroken Nas was when he found out Jay had slept with Carmen.
