Just finished the episode. Joe was on point for the most part until the Migos/Katy Perry portion. 

Gambino gave B&B a real quantifiable spike but white ppl were definitely on it, **** was already #1 on the Hot 100  

And like I said Juicy J and her are labelmates (Kemosabe) and both were working very closely with Dr. Luke. Add in the fact that Juice and 2 Chainz are probably some of the biggest mercenaries in hip hop ( _'s will literally do a verse for WHOEVER got that bag 

 ) and you have 2 pretty weak examples to argue with.

Between the antics Joe brings up a lot of logical points and insight

But how are they being "used" even if it's just sales of the song or performances they are gonna garner a lot of attention off the song themselves. Both parties benefit off of the collab, Katy gets to do her goofyass impression of rap & migos have another guaranteed track on the charts & a little more noteriety in the pop world. They used eachother.

Is she going to bring them on tour?

Are her fans going to become fans of theirs?

IMO we always make them cool and hip, then they take that co-sign and exploit it.

IMO it always seems sort of one sided, because your fans start looking at you funny.

To make it a culture vulture thing discussion. I'll use Mariah Carey as an example. I remember that people were looking at her funny, because Columbia had given her this little princess image since Vision Of Love. Then she did the song with Dirty and people were confused. Then she was like this is me. She was Logic before Logic. She had to prove herself, and it seemed genuine. She gained fans and it worked.

It seems that it isn't done anymore. People take that collaboration as genuine, instead of some record label business decision.

Migos gonna get good money from this song but this benefits Katy Perry way more than Migos. Same **** Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and Katy did before. They cool off and want whatever is hot right now to make them hot. Then bounce and never do **** again with them.

I love this show, but I think Charlamagne might be right about it lasting no more than 6 months. Joe is just so extra for no reason. but thats also what makes the show so great. all I heard on today's episode was Joe screaming at Ak while arguing the same damn point

I didn't watch the whole speech just saw the part they showed on es and it stopped right after she said that part

it does look more playful in nature watching the whole speech but the first part came off as a natural reaction when I first saw the clip
