Rap About Nothing: Hip Hop Chat Thread

She crying because cardi didn’t fan out over her? And quack didn’t jump on twitter and plead with people on her behalf? She really want cardi to about her out in interviews and act like it’s a honor to be on the same song as her.

She really got spoiled these last 8 years. Always said she's like the high school girl that wants all the attention and love.

How that Jones sound? Legit haven’t heard a Jim project since Max been gone. Them linking back up late last year and sheer nostalgia had me anticipating this heavy, now that it’s finally here I’m hesitant to listen...I’ll eventually get to it.

And wtf is Ma$e? Son dissed Cam and promised new music and disappeared again.

This is funnier if you actually meant to call him quack

Nicki Minaj just gave a wide-ranging interview with Beats 1's Zane Lowe in front of what we assume will soon be her fourth album.

In the chat, she discussed her ex Meek Mill's legal situation, including his judge Genece Brinkley, who gave Meek two to four years for probation violations. Nicki went out of her way to defend the judge's actions when Lowe brought up the controversy surrounding her.

"The judge in question did everything asked of her," Minaj said. "So I can’t badmouth her because I met her personally. I know what she said to us, he knows that and I know that. But I wouldn't wish jail on anybody."
Nicki wouldn't elaborate on this, saying she's saving "some of these things" for her album and an upcoming documentary.

What we do know is Meek's lawyer Joe Tacopina has alleged that Nicki Minaj was present when Brinkley inappropriately asked Meek to record a song with a shout out to her in it.

"When Meek and Nicki came out of that private, in-chambers meeting, they both repeated a very troubling story that the judge had made a request of Meek to re-make a Boyz II Men song, Charlie Mack's band, by the way, "On Bending Knees" and to give a shout out to the judge on the song," Tacopina revealed in an interview with HotNewHipHop. "And Meek thought, and Nicki as well, thought they were being subject to a joke or the judge was kidding and when they left the judge said, 'I'm serious.' And Meek refused that request. He said, 'that's not what I do. That's not my genre.' And she then said, 'suit yourself.'"
Meek's legal team also alleged Brinkley tried to get Meek to dump Roc Nation for management in favor of Charlie Mack.

Jump to the 2:30 mark to hear Nicki partially wreck Meek's narrative on the judge that put him away.

Like meek wasn’t acting like a raging ***** either

I didn't like Nicki's comments about Meek. Not commenting on him being locked up, but just saying you feel sorry for his mom.
