Rap About Nothing: Hip Hop Chat Thread

Slim tried to put the bug in his hear and tried to bring him aboard the legitimate side.

Gangsta said he wanted the hood fame. It’s crazy how so many guys think like that and don’t see the bigger picture. It’s so many dudes like that in the hood.

They want to be hood rich, they can’t see the appeal of being nothing else

Grine Grine judging by the way Gangsta, Slim and Birdman speak, you can tell that they’re highly intelligent brother. Boys ain’t no dummies. Seems like education and book smarts was kind of important to their peoples? You got any insight?

Baby’s pops was a businessman. Owned that spot Baby was talking about. He was rather successful during his time and in his community. I think the Cashmoney doc released some few years ago even talked about How Baby and slim got some type of contribution from their Dad to start the business up. Prettt much all of the rap moguls Master P/Diddy/Irv/Baby/JD/Suge/Dame etc, had some type of familial head start to help them with their business (alongside their hustling). They then each grabbed some talent from the street and broke thru.

Like Dame snuck them ****** in at the last minute

This era of Dame was hilarious . He was intentionally putting the Dips in places that made white American uncomfortable. And it made for some incredible content. That smirk by Dame tells it all
