His physical health visually seems to be improving, so not sure what's going on, but hopefully a speedy recovery.

I’m not sure if he used lean, but if so it may be catching up to him. I hope he recovers.

Ross admitted to having used Lean before but I think he quit.

That’s sad to hear he he on life support. Definitely prayers for Rozay man. That Florida boy song is my ****, looking forward to his next project.

Damn hope Ross pulls through he made two of my favorite songs ever In Vein and Mafia music so I’m playing those all night .

It’s pretty much a resurgence. It helps that people are dropping out of nowhere too. Dudes aren’t being help up by labels anymore. Kinda feels like 07/08 almost as far as that type of music goes. Mainstream rap was horrible but that same period was peak underground/lyrical stuff

reccomend some great underground stuff from that era

Sean Price - Jesus Price Superstar
Black Milk - Popular Demand
Evidence - The Weatherman LP & The Layover mixtape
Joell Ortiz - The Brick
Little Brother - The Getback
Consequence - Don't Quit Your Day Job
Percee P - Perseverance
Guilty Simpson - Ode To The Ghetto
Wisemen - Wisemen Approaching
Bronze Nazareth - The Great Migration
Talib Kweli - Eardrum
Hi-Tek - Hi-Teknology 1 & 2.

Those are all the ones I actually had myself. Always heard about Blu & Exile 'Below The Heavens', but I never heard actually listened to it. Pharoahe Monch had that 'Desire' album, but I remember it mostly for the single from Madden  MURS For President had a couple good songs on there too

What's wrong with jays rapping over trap beats? His verses aren't the issue with the songs.

He sounds terrible over that style. I Got The Keys was trash all around.

I can confirm Below The Heavens is one of the greatest pieces of music I've ever heard in my life. The Getback made me sad because
  1. It was the end
  2. 9th definitely wasn't coming back
