2008 and after is probably the weakest era of r&b acts. Weeknd, Dream, Frank all got better music than Chris. Chris and Ne-Yo came out the same year. Ne-Yo got at least 2 classic albums.

Meek time pretty much running up as a tier 1 rapper. He’s about to enter the legacy rap phase, where he has a solid and older fan base....but the sales/singles will be average to below average. But he and his label won’t drop until he’s ensured a 150K + first week release, and billboard single. And he may not be able to do that right now or going forward.
