Bruh got a GAP commercial for Pete’s sake![]()
****** Reaching. How does making a gap commercial alienate his core fanbase ? I don't see the correlation
****** Reaching.
smhThey partnered him with Cher of all people for that commercial.
If people like Cher or Miley Cyrus are his “core” fanbase.......................
....I stick to my guns

producers would be better served to sign under artists instead of being soldiers of Fortunes...all those producers that got hot under brick squad got caked up directly from gucci first...got their notoriety up, then played da field, not da other way around.
it would behoove producers to also learn how to DJ so they can earn every day put food on da table money.

This could work but imagine how lesser of a brand Metro would have if he only could do songs with Gucci and OJ the Juiceman and Wooh da Kid and ***

Dudes really want to give future **** for making honest but want to call Kanye a genius for 808's
#narratives
word, cats in here trying to downplay Cardi B in here..why?
Nicki type effed her self into a corner, all those features she's doing is cool, but Cardi B can go tit for tat with her, and she bilingual so Cardi Jumping on all those flaming Dembow/reggaeton smash hits and got Nicki having to follow suit
Nicki better act like its 2007 and drop a fire *** mixtape....like now.
How is that selling out? GAP is using him to get urban social media coverage and attention they usually wouldn’t get. Future is not trying to sell albums to Cher’s fans.
One of y’all said he’s “essentially a street dude who never sold out” if that’s him, fine, but don’t act like never tried to comercialize himself.
Street n_ ain’t wearing no damn Gap, stop that. N_ ain’t worn gap like that since the 80s.
“Getting coverage they wouldn’t usually get” is EXACTLY the premis of the argument. That’s what commercialization is. Using someone of an untapped demographic, to garner sales. Y’all got the gall to sit here and dispute this.

Kanye’s whole rollout was the college kid/school boy. He ain’t jump on the scene, a street guy like Future. Kanye ALWAYS experiemented.
You’re the one reaching now
...but yea, Future doing songs with Miley Cyrus just cause. Alright guy
Nicki should just stick with her pop features and fully immerse herself in that lane

who's doing that?![]()
Man this is such crap I don't even know why I'm responding. Just because Kanye is a dweeb he's allowed to experiment musically void any criticism? Kanye came out the gate a producer.. then a faux rapper.. then a faux r&b artist... then a faux rock artist.. meanwhile Future being a hood ***** or not has showed his harmonizing side since DAY ONE but you want to chastise him. What type of logic you got going fam
Your better than this.

We’re just saying whether or not he ever tried to go commercial. Which he indeed did. Ain’t nothing wrong with that. Let him get his money. It can work good, or bad, for certain artists.
