Rap About Nothing: Hip Hop Chat Thread

 cot dammit
Seriously though lol. People like using morphed definitions of terms like Classic and Legends.

A legend is something famously well known and will have stories about it told in the future. This doesn't mean they have to be the best at what they do, they just need long standing noteriety. From Kool Herc Flash, to Pac Big, to Jay Nas, to Kendrick Drake. All legends. We'll be talking about them in 10 years. I'll take back post Post, but Cardi B is a legend coming out of this generation.

Investments, women... bruh when it's your time, it's your time.

Cole, Kendrick, and drake are all legends in this rap game.

I don't even see how this would be objectively debatable. Considering how successful they've been for as long as they've been, I don't see how this is even a debate.

Cole been putting out #1 albums since 2011, and that's not counting Warm up, Friday Night Lights.

Drake been putting out #1 albums since 2009. So Far Gone had the #1 song in the country on it.

Kendrick been popping for 9 years now. #1 albums, grammy's, mixtapes,

Their rise coincides with rap's rise in mainstream populous, but nevertheless, how many rappers you know stayed hot for a decade? For that alone they're legends.
