Love this page right chea. Louisiana rap one of the most influential and concurrently successful places in hip hop. They ain’t give the ball up or lose a step since P in the mid 90s....influence felt to this damn day. STRONGLY. From underground to the top of the mainstream. Even the biggest pop star in the world is signed to a New Orleans label and his most recent universal hits (Nice for what, in my feeelings) samples bounce music.

We gon have to have a discussion about how Louisiana slowly took control of the rap game. From the independent on up with little resources. Outside of the homegrown talent...Most of the biggest artist in rap had to go there. From Snoop to Nicki to Drake.

Dude really has been in the game for 20 years and stayed true to his formula while having an excess of classic rap verses during the golden age of mixtape spitting. His catalog of tapes and smorgasbord of rap/r&b hits have solidified his position as a rap great and in some instances a over achiever considering his roots as a mixtape/punchline rapper. Respect this dude for what he's accomplished and done in this game.
