Thats why _'s still **** w him despite his rep, he a real street _ that understand you and where you coming from in a way these other execs can't and he will get you somewhat straight on the front depending on who you are. Mikkey Halsted said thats why he hated beats w samples, his finesse is pocketing the overwhelming majority of his artists royalties if he can and clearing samples, giving up a % of future royalties etc cuts into his bottom line.

That’s the old head southern mentality. You can tell he hung around older people, when he was young. Birdman is like all wealthy/rich dudes who sustain longevity as far as money goes. Be frugal, don’t spend everything.
