Either way, that doesn’t change the fact that it was Kanan doing this to Tariq.
Dre is the one who got the money to Kanan and those crooked cops to let Riq go.
He didn’t want Kanan to kill him because Dre had no backup so he didn’t tell Tommy. (Ghost was locked up)
So it’s Kanans fault why she got killed. He introduced Riq to these crooked cops.
