Do any of you guys collect the Beast Wars Transformers Masterpiece toys? They look really good IMO.

Technically, there's only one and he just came out

Trying to hold off on it though unless they come out with TRex Megs and Dinobot. It's my OCD of not wanting to have one random figure

Cheetor has already been announced so i'm sure they're gonna support the line

That's true, completely forgot about him. It's just, out of all the BW S1 characters, Prime and Cheetor were the only two I wasn't a huge fan of

i liked Tigatron, Tigerhawk, Blackarachnia, Scorpinok, Rampage, and Inferno

I really wish one of the 3p would take the idea of FP Ninseticons and make them into a combiner adding Inferno and Waspinator and add a Praying Mantis for a combiner weapon, have buy styled combiner feet with 2 toes front and one back, black, purple, yellow chrome never looked so good in my mind

I've seen them pop up on BBTS here and there and they all looked like the actual characters in the show as opposed to the ones I grew up playing with that weren't as nice. When I saw Optimus show up as an MP I assumed they all were.

Finally received my toyworld car combiner, was excited til i opened the box and saw that tw-t04 was missing, contacted seller hopefully they'll send out the missing member

I'm currently bulding an RX-78-2 that I bought last year, I only have the legs and some of the waist done. This year has been complete trash for MGs, nothing has released that was a must buy for me. I haven't bought any Gunpla this year and it looks like I will go into 2017 like that. I still don't have a Sazabi or Nu MG, depending on the exchange rate, I might pull the trigger.

nice man, although I see some nubs...any updates? If you haven't done it yet, it should be decals first, followed by a gloss coat, then the panel lines, and then a flat top coat. By the way how did you paint the clear green? I'm assuming you hand-brushed it? Why didn't you try to tackle the eyes as well?

By the time i put my daughter to bed im wayy to tired to do anything...but i needa get back into it and finish up

I need to clean up those nubs..i got super lazy during the end.
I did hand paint the chest piece..was surprisingly easy.
The eyes are pretty small so i got discouraged.. but i will probly paint it at some point

that's not a surprising price, lets see inflation, add-in he'll prob come with everything need to look good in gun mode unlike last time where you had to go through a 3rd party to get all of that, add-in popularity and the price of takomy vs 3rd party and that seems about right, MPOP10 is $189 with a reissue coming at $220, SW is $160, 2 of the coneheads are $190, now all these are BBTS prices but still i can understand the price gouge, but that's one of the reason i don't buy MP, it was all down hill for me when Hasbro refused to release MPRP in the states and only went with MPR

That's why I always go direct from the Japanese sites. Nobody should ever be buying MP's from these US E-tailers.

AE has them for $154 and then it's usually around $17 for EMS shipping. Well worth the $175 price.

early next year ill be in japan, gona pick up GFT versions of MG 3.0 and RG RX 78-2.

Yea it's "old" but the majority of 2.0s have incredible engineering that have withstood the test of time. I'm the type of guy that doesn't have to get the latest and greatest, and I'm ok with that. Besides I only buy like 3-4 MGs a year.

I have other priorities/hobbies, so building a kit right away is not important to me. I like to take my time to appreciate the engineering and enjoy the build. I've been building these kits on and off since like '02.

quick story....
before I actually learned how to properly build gunpla, I used to get the parts out of the runners with scissors. And when they didn't work I would use my fingers. And guess how I got rid of the extra nubs, I used my teeth to bite the plastic off.

The cost of doing business with a gun alt mode. MP -10 aka Optimus was $250 even though he had a trailer with him. The parts count must be insane. Only thing that's gonna suck is that orange cap but hopefully it's easy to take out
