Topperz delivery, a few summer caps. The Orioles is so good in person, peach uv looks nice with orange. Rangers cap is fire, sidepatch is super icy. Red kitty is crazy, icy uv was a nice touch.

I wanted to like todays HatClub ocean drive drop but i can’t pull the trigger on anything the only thing I’m feeling is the rays cuz of the Tropicana patch

I went ahead and copped the ocean drive rays. Would’ve been so smooth with a grey under but oh well. Can always use a new TB fitted though, I’m from the bay so can never have too many lol

the tigers D logo has a weird history. For one season a few years back, the smaller D became larger. It was so opposed, they dropped it back down in size. Now their vintage Ds are all over the place. Not sure what that MSU is trying to showcase. Even the 1961 I just got in plain Jane form is slightly wrong, so I wouldn’t doubt the one you have could be too thick etc.Here’s a 2018 HC flat stitched D logo from years back, next to a recent topperz pickup with raised embroidery and outline. Some of their D logos are more geared for cap logos, while others aren’t. I think HC chose a tigers logo that hasn’t been used often. I want to say it’s a jersey logo.

What’s the word on that sneakertownmia oversized Phillies logo aqua uv drop? Probably the ugliest thing I’ve ever seen. Is the new craze super large logos? Is it trying to emulate the sliding bisons by spelling out the whole team name?

The Ideal Cap Co. website went down (in March perhaps) and now
someone looks to be selling a lot of their stock on ebay for discounted
prices...
...if one ever entertained getting a vintage style fitted, this might be a good
opportunity. Many to choose from. Large sizes included. Ideal Cap Co. is/was
the last vestige of Cooperstown Ball Cap.
ps - keep in mind that a lot of them (not all) have a very thin black leather
sweatband and, I'm no expert on their caps, but they can fit large/roomy...
if in between sizes...but then again, if the cap is wool, over time...

I had a Cooperstown Collection 1970s Red Sox cap with a leather sweatband when I was in HS in the 90s and that thing gave me the worst gatdam acne I ever had. Had no zits before I got myself that hat and had none after I stopped wearing it within like a month. The Cooperstown Ball Cap Company is different than Cooperstown Collection
licensed products made by other companies such as Roman Pro, American Needle
and New era. It was it's own cap company - think like old Ebbet's Field Flannels.
To the point of the leather band - I've read that it was supposed to function
more as a gasket than a sweat absorber.

Oh yeah, no I know the difference between Cooperstown Collection et al, I was just using it as an example to discuss that band you'd mentioned on some of the CBCC stuff.
And a gasket around my forehead? Eek... I'd rather get sweat in my eyes lol

Those old Roman Pro leather bands would shrink after sweating in them...
then wear the hat, get a headache and a big red mark on your forehead..
try to stretch it and risk tearing it - but cap would be locked down in place,
not going anywhere
The Ideal Cap Co leather bands (most of them) are a different type...
thin black leather, almost rubbery with more give but less secure

YES! That Sox hat felt like it shrunk two sizes! I thought my head grew or something. Never knew that the headband shrunk. Now it makes me hate that design even more lol.

Could have been a combination of both - making the cap very short lived in the rotation.
I don't think you'd have as much of a problem now.
