That's what I was saying earlier... I've tried to cop a coked out tiger several times from different outlets and regardless of who drops them they always sellout instantly. So far I've peeped that the coked out tigers, angels, astros, baby cubs, and bison fitteds seem to always sellout instantly. So far my collection is full of mostly Rockies, Cardinals, blue Jays, pirates, and reds hats they don't seemed to be as hyped as some other teams so I'm usually able to cop their fitteds in colors I like lol
When random shops like futurerfrnce are selling out instantly at $60 retail, bigger things are at hand.

If people just remembered these aren’t inherently rare and you will eventually get the cap you want, we’ll all be better for it.

I’m honestly surprised there aren’t more fakes out there of the really popular colors/designs. Places have hustled for much less. Did they go in depth about what makes it fake? The front logo stitching looks off but it’s not too too obvious. The cardboard insert is a big no no but could have been added after? I know with onfields, there are a few cues you can look for. Some times the inner cap piping has the wrong logos or misspellings.

This particular seller told buyers it was a New Era. Someone received their order and flagged it immediately. It wasn't done through New Era at all. He's not the only seller passing off customs ad New Eras. I've seen it quite a bit. It's happening because the demand of certain designs so now people are beginning to take it into their own hands.

Ooof don’t even wanna touch that Bisons hat drama. Lots of customs out but these were sold as authentic NE but upon inspection they were fufu

Ugh so mad i held off on this now sold out in my size and i don’t really wanna get a 3/4

Oldie but goodie today.

Nice! That’s gotta be close to a 2006- 2007 era cooperstown cap, maybe usa made? Leaning towards 2008-10 China made.

HC did the remake a few times but chose the black sweatband as their signature on so many caps from 15-19.
The retro classic from lids was junk. Oversized logo and the threading layering was off.
Fun note, this feels like it would be a green under, but this style in an on field capacity actually had grey under in the late 80s.
Honestly, with all of the new colors and themes and patches, quite a few basics just haven’t really come out. Not sure we’ll see the shift to where the classics get sought after. This sox is one of those. There’s many bare bone plain janes just not even seeing the light of day.

djlunchbox djlunchbox interesting. I never thought of that with liners. I will add a paper towel in a cap that’s already sweat in to absorb some moisture. hats (like shoes and those darn toebox inserts) age. 5-10 wears , you can keep a cap close to brand new. Spring to summer and a slight bit of normal sweating and hats age man. You wouldn’t like to see some of the caps I have.

Most people own caps for the long term of having them forever, so that protection element is beyond extra

And believe it or not, many people wear hats in the heat or gym as they sweat in these products. This is why I ask and wonder if 90% of all of these releases are actually for wear. I have yet to see a beat up hyped hat. Have you?

While i don’t disagree that some of these guys buy hats for the gram or just to say they have it, lots still rock em. It just like sneaker dudes with multiple pairs you end up rocking hats less frequently when you have a variety to choose from.

Me personally i hate cleaning the guts and I sweat something crazy 😂

Today for Minor League Monday
