Tint done , waiting on a tune from APR and looking into getting wheels but not sure yet

One thing I don't like about APR is that you can't sell it when you're done. That's why I went with the COBB, resale value on them is always crazy high. Once you get the COBB you can get a protune from just about anywhere and flash it to the car whenever you like.

APR only allows flashing at a certified shop and you have to go there anytime you want anything done, like diff maps etc. it's a one size fits all tune, wether you have high flow / no cats or exhaust. And obviously no resale value once it's installed. Also my friends 911 completely lost sport mode. It only has sport plus and Normal after the APR tune. Unsure why.

But all the praise in the world for them as a company and their tunes, they're very safe to run and I like that they're just a small town shop in Auburn, AL and will answer any phone call.

Look into neuspeed. I like mine, oem fit. No hub rings and lug nuts to worry about which I like because I swap to stock in the winter.

Neuspeed - I have not heard that word in about 20 years, around the time the first Fast and Furious movie came out.

Only reason I haven’t got an apr flash is because I can’t always get premium gas.

My shop is a dealer for them though.

I’m not sure on this but I think it’s a different neuspeed.

I don’t know if they ever made jdm parts but I know what you’re talking about.

Spoke to my clients husband that is a GM @ Ferrari.

I was offered a Roma build @ MSRP or a 296 GTB @ MSRP.

Both are 2-3 year wait times.

296 to me is a bit expensive. Roma is a great price, and he’s really pushing me in this direction, and he is going to loan me one for a day. He’s also offered to give me first dibs on trades for 488/F8 before they go into Ferrari certification so I may be able to nab a deal.

He told me apparently 60% of their sales are open end lease, which I found quite surprising.
Bro let me get a job lol

Roma is weak. Much rather an R8 or 992 without a doubt.

I think the roma is also ehh. But he assured me it drives like a baby 812, and is giving me one for the day to prove it. So we'll see. Still latching onto the preowned 488.

Personally I think the roma and 296 have too much tech for me. I love how analog the 991.2 still feels in the interior, and the absence of any technology makes it a standout keeper in my book. I love the looks of the 992 but having that many large screens and tech ensures that it wont age properly as time progresses sans GT cars.

A longterm car for me has less screens and doodads. I have teslas for that stuff and none of it comes close anyways.

I'm keeping my porsche, don't think i'll ever sell it but if anything it would be another 992 Targa GTS or 718 Spyder but manual in the future.

Roma gotta be the ugliest Ferrari ever made. Total snoozefest.

Get a 550, 575, 599 6 speed and call it a day. Appreciation vs instant depreciation in the Roma.

Romas are pretty cheap though at 229 base price. Most I see are 300.

I like all of those above particularly the 599, but all of them have some maintenance issues as well as leather shrinkage issues; I would love an F12/812.

Porsche are the masters of pushing the cars to the limit while keeping it as analog as possible. That's why they're so sought after and hold value so well. To me, the 991 generation was the perfect balance of tech and analog. I'm probably going to keep my 991 and eventually hand it down to my children the day I no longer drive.

993 is the ultimate for me. Just peak Porsche. Best shape ever.

But yeah prices have gotten out of hand for them. 996 and 997 are next...10-20 years time those are going to be going for a good chunk of dough.

man…996s were so cheap 5 years ago!

now buying a reasonably priced one means it needs the ims bearing. i almost bought one a couple of times, but i couldnt bring myself to buy something used that would need $5k additionally just for peace of mind…

i wouldnt mind really paying the $5k and i kinda like the fried egg headlights…what i couldnt really get over was how much heavier and bulky the car looks from the previous generation. the air cooled 911s look amazing.

Anyone here own the new Grand Cherokee L? If so, how is it?

I really like the look of the L more then the new 2 row version. It's criminal how expensive they are.

Maybe someone can chime in on this, but why is it that the leasing one of these as far as monthly payments is concerned, is more than an actual cost to own car payment? I thought lease payments would be drastically lower than paying to own.

Anywho, this is the exact Jeep GC L I want. on the link listed below. It looks so dope in black on black. I'm not going to jump the gun just yet because I want to see how the 2023 Toyota 4runner looks once it revealed. I'm sure those are going to be pricey as well. Man, SUV's are expensive hell lol...

Crazy weekend. Went to Lancaster Cars & Coffee. It's known for having one of the largest Cars & Coffee meets around. And this being the first of the year, didn't disappoint. They counted over 2000 cars coming and going from 7 am to noon. I just took a few shots of the highlights (for me anyway). Here they are.

Some of the exotics that were there. Yeah, as soon as that GT rolled in, game over, best car there! 👏👏 And that green Evora GT was just 🤤🤤🤤 I asked the owner what green color it was and he basically said "how the heck to I know, it's green". 😒 Really? You don't even know the color of your own car?!! Gosh I can't stand some car owners. He actually apologized as when he said it, and I said "gee, sorry for asking", he realized he came off wrong and jumped down my throat. He calmed down and was decent to talk to.

Food for thought for anyone who has a unique color (or any color). Know what it's called as your bound to be asked the name eventually. More pics to come.

Finally got to see an Autozam AZ-1 in person. It's incredibly tiny. But super cool.

Honda Beat was nice as well.

Real Type R from Japan. Very clean and in great shape.

The new Mach1. Wasn't a fan at first as it's missing a rather important feature (shaker scoop) but now CDC has one for sale to add and the strut tower brace is able to be kept on with the scoop. And the car was the 10-sp auto. It's a good looking car.

That hot rod is a Factory Five but with the "Roadrunner" Boss 302 crate motor in it from a 2013-2014 model. That's gotta be a crazy ride.

And I finally remembered to take a picture of my car at a Cars & Coffee. I never usually take a picture as I'm busy talking to people I know, checking other cars and such. But my buddy was taking a pic of his Vette (the white one one up from my car. It's a beautiful C6 with lots of tasteful mods) and I thought, why not. Was worth the hour drive out Sunday morning. The afternoon was REALLY FUN (those pics are next).

Once I got home from Lancaster, there was the Penn-Jersey region of the FCA (Ferrari Club of America) nearby. So my wife and I went out to see some friends (my buddy owns an AMAZING gated 550 Maranello) and just got a Monospecchio (single flying mirror) Teatarossa in white/white that was sitting for many years. He had his cars in as well as a few others where there (a few 458 owners, a Pista owner and a guy who has a 355 Spider).

So we took her car, lol. Total infiltration 😂😂 the pic of a bull in a sea of horses is funny (and just so it's known, the show was winding down by the time we got there. Everyone was inside at the awards banquet so we just drove on in and parked in an empty spot. Though we were waved at by someone from the club). Here are a few pics of what I took. More on the 2nd post.

The specs of some of these builds were just off the charts. I'll take that Blu Corsa/red interior 488 Spider ALL DAY!! 🤤🤤

The green 458 Spider was incredible. $40K paint job.

The burgundy 360 is really nice. As was that yellow 550.

More pics of some more next post.

The best of show had already left. It was another 275 GTB/4 cam car. In this just amazing light blue color. So bummed we missed it. But the other cars that were still there were incredible. The TRs, the 550/575/599s, the Dino was stunning. 2 Daytonas and another Dino I didn't take a pic of. Just amazing.

It's not attended by too many spectators as it's kinda pricey to just walk around $50 (and no lunch. That's $90). So it's usually a quiet relaxing day. But DEFINITELY worth it if your in the area of Blue Bell Pa.

Oh and about the earlier discussion about the Roma? I meant to post about it. Not a fan! The local dealer has a demo model that has 3700 miles. It's meh. Styling is like all other 2-door fastback coupes with a lift glass hatch. They could have made it look so much better (the shark nose front)

My friend drove one and he hated it. WAY WAY too much tech. Not connected to the road at all. All electronics and no soul. Is it fast? Yeah, but at what cost. For that money, $229k base plus options, to order one. NO WAY! I'd take the new MC20 Maserati. That car is STUNNING, has the doors, and starts at $210K. So what if it's a TTV6. It has 621 hp & is beautiful! Heck, if it has to be a V8, then I'd do the Aston Martin Vantage with the optional 7-speed stick (I believe it can be had in the F1 Edition) That would be a BLAST!! Would e cheaper..Classy, and 3 pedals vs a Roma? Yup.

Hope you all liked the photos. 👍👍🙏🙏

Values have shot up and have landed firmly in "not worth it" territory.

And I say this as someone who owns both a 964 and a 993.

On that note, 964 > 993 all day long (non-RS).

You can argue looks all you want (the hips on the widebody 993s are stunning, but the low-slung/long hood look of the 964 is simply iconic), but the 993 drives and feels like a Buick in comparison.

With that said, the 993RS is hands down the best 911 I've ever driven (and I've driven every RS short of the 996).

For $150k, I don't think you can do much better than a 991.1 GT3.
