05fordgt Amazing pictures man! All the cars look so damn good. I didn't even know of the Benz 560 existence- learn something new everyday.
Couple car shots from Cars & Coffee Saturday morning before the rain storm.
Before anyone asks, this is NOT a factory gated 599 GTB. It's a conversion from a company in New Jersey. They only use Ferrari OEM parts. The place in Texas who's famous for doing the manual Scuderia uses their own parts. Still added value but not like a factory stick which they didn't make a whole lot.
And a few shots from the cars & coffee event at The Simeone Museum in Philadelphia (I'll need a 2nd post for the rest)
do you know if the silver car is a a D-Type Lynx always liked the Koenig E31Pics #2 inside the museum
And one of the coolest cars at the cars & coffee.
Yup, it's an actual authentic Koenig Special! Mercedes Benz 560 SEC Koenig Special! Nothing says pure '80s like a Koenig package! Car was awesome!

Sounds like a good deal on a great DD to meI have unbelievably (in todays market) purchased a car cheap.
2019 Model 3 Sr+ 14k miles with full self driving for 37.5k private party.
How’d I do?? The “good deal” serotonin hittin cause I put the vin into Vroom and got 40,300 instant offer.
Is your car on bags?my Simple G37 I've owned this car since 2008 and have 60k miles on it now, looking for a second ride currently for a weekend maybe a Benz r129
Watching Doug Demuro and he was reviewing the Lambroghini Diablo. Didnt know Lambo literally used the Nissan 300ZX headlights for the 6.0 and used a piece of carbon fiber on the top part of the headlight to hide the Nissan logo. I think thats so interesting.

Oh yeah, that's been a little (not so) secret for years. It's basically because Lamborghini didn't want to have to pay to have headlights custom made for the 6.0. And since the production numbers of the 6.0 was really low (only 337 made between 2000-2001), they went the cheap (smart) way and designed the bumper around these lights.
It was actually pretty smart, as one has to think of the cost to R&D, fab & and safety test new light fixtures for such a small total of cars). Considering Tier 1 OEM suppliers require a rather large quantity when agreeing to produce an item for normal manufacturers (big 3, Toyota, etc). I'm sure one of them would have agreed to a deal to make such a small total but the suppliers cost to do would have gone up exponential, and Lamborghini would have gotten charge a lot more than for a larger order. This was a great move and a rather inexpensive part compared to the light fixtures later on (a Murcielago headlamp assembly is about $7,000 each side).
And it actually looks really good on the Diablo. I wonder how many headlights they went through before settling on the 300ZX’s.
Not even that long ago. They were around that back in May when I bought my X3M. Shoulda just got one then. Oh wel hindsight’s 20/20. Hoping they call me today or tomorrow and accept though. Haha. I really want it.Yeah.... f that
That same car would've been $58K a year ago
Yeah I kind of agree. I ordered an id4 a month ago. May just wait for that to come in and then wait for prices to come down to realityYeah I regret not buying within the last several years. But who could've predicated this market
For F80s at least I don't think it's sustainable. Once G80 production increases (and others) there will be plenty for sale
