I ran for MONTHS in a pair of Nike Airmax 90 all white retros, ran the Eastern
States 20 mile race in them, and followed that up with the 2006 Boston Marathon.
Those shoes can take a beating. I remember running mile 19 of the 20 mile race,
a guy pointed out that I'd run better wearing actual running shoes. I said, " They
are, people wore these 15 years ago, why can't I wear them now?" and proceeded
to pass him. During Boston though I ended up losing a toe nail and busting my
feet up pretty bad thanks to these joints though. I'll post some pics tomorrow,
beileve me that these are some truely beat sneakers. Not as bad as those dunks though.
