Longtime lurker finally registered.  These are awesome pics.  I actually just picked up the Silver SLP's today.  Any idea on where to buy the Gold?

Is there any marketplace for balenciaga's such as pleateds other than eBay?  I can't find pleateds in my size(39) for under a stack and am ready to add them to my rotation.

Have no idea how the waiting lists work but I'm gonna go down to the SLP stores tomorrow and see if I can get on for both colorways.

Would it help if I was on the waiting list for both NYC boutiques? I have a feeling I'm very late to the party anyway since I'm in NYC

From what I understand the Gold version are an overseas release only.

Thanks! Yeah true to size.  I got a 44 and wear a 11.5.

Yeah I asked my SA about the Gold and he said no US store got them.  Hopefully they make it online somewhere.

I always see the best deals on Facebook groups, especially the months after they restocked, it might be dried up now I haven't checked recently. pm me and I'll give you the name of a couple

Seems to be from an earlier season, like from 2011 or before. Found this pic with what looks like a style code or smth, not entirely sure. 

Will warn you that it's a woman's sneaker, although that hasn't stopped anyone before. 

Seems there was a black version too. 

And apparently there might be a variation popping up for the SS14 collection. Not entirely sure. 

Buuut yeah. All the SS14 stuff is really frilly so. Best bet is eBay. Dunno if they made a navy. 

EDIT: Nvm, found a navy. Fabolous wore it. It's from the '11 Collection, dunno which. But yeah, still gonna be eBay.

The reissue of the red pleats are just to distracting with the ashy red suede …. They shouldn't have bothered rereleasing them like that. I'm happy I picked up the originals when they first dropped.

^^^^ They had to go the Jordan Retro route and change something otherwise there would be no way to differentiate them from the original release.

Out of curiosity, why does balenciaga keep releasing the arena and not the pleated? I know the arena has more success, but the demand for the pleated is there too.
