That's strange, my CP's I got last year were pretty uncomfortable. Sure, the leather is fantastic, but the solid rubber sole actually made my feet sore by the end of the day. I wasn't very impressed. They're one of my favorite shoes aesthetically speaking though, so I'd love to pick up a new pair if they've improved them. Is the fit itself any different width/length wise?

So the pair I picked up last year were also mid achilles--and I had a PAIN getting them on. And also the leather was very.."noisy" like I could here myself walking from the sound the shoe would make. Now unless I received a defected item or a fake pair (which can't be because I bought it from tres bien), this years version has drastically improved. This years version leather seems a lot more smooth and doesn't make those "leathery" sounds as I walk. Also, I can slide my feet right into the shoe. I can't remember how the inside lining was for last years version, but this years is fully lined and padded with the same smooth leather that is on the exterior. I think they also added a little hump at the bottom of the shoe, possibly making it more comfortable? I wore them all day for 2 days and the comfort level to me was on the same level as balenciaga arenas/pleated, if not better.

Yeah that price is actually fair for real python. I was looking at a pair of python suede LV shoes 2-3 years ago and they were 1900.

I was able to get on the list for the red ones at SF. End of April was quoted time. Let's see what this shoe is about.

I while I was able to get my hands on both colora of them, and a try on both the 44 and 45. I found out that the perfect size for me was a 44.5. So I am on the list for the restocks in that size plus I am working with a euro retailer on getting the black and golds.

Never mind the seller wants $1010 for them. That's too steep for me. Was hoping to pay $800-$900 max

I called houston because I've ordered from them before. This time around I ordered the silvers and asked about getting on the list for the blues. but the SA gave me the run around.
