I love Gucci but most of their shoes aren't original either.
Slip-on = Vans, hi-tops = Chucks.
If you want something original that didn't copy any brands, get Prada A-Cups.
oo i see, not on the east coast though, at all.Originally Posted by RFX45
I don't know, here in SoCal, A-Cups are still pretty rare.
My guess is they sell well because I do see them run out at stores but it's still not common.
At least when you have a pair of A-Cups, no one would suspect your wearing nother brand.
Yeah, fakes are everywhere but so far so good in my area, I don't think i've seen much if any.
Even the Fila rip-offs aren't too common here.
lurking2long are those your Lanvins? If so, how much did you drop if you don't mind me asking.
i wish........................where are these sold at? too clean an yes i realize they like 650-700+. i wouldnt mind a pair for next spring at all. but im notbuildin up a collection no time soon or in the future.
funny....speakin of prada a cups, when i first bought the black/silver mesh hi pradas i thought that was the most id ever spend on a sneaker in my life.

Same with the Barneys here in San Francisco...they have a good selection of lanvins. I actually saw alot of Lanvins on sale during the Barneyssale, but not sure if the one lurkin posted was there or even on sale.Originally Posted by RFX45
They shouldn't be too hard to find in-store.
The Barneys in Rodeo Drive are flooded with Lanvins.
I believe the Bottega Veneta's as well.
Out of all the stores though, including Nordstrom, Saks and Neiman Marcus, Barneys are the only ones that carries both brands.

To me the best quality judgement comes from actually having experience with the garments. I can TELL you the skies red, that don't make it so.. To me they both are of great quality, but clothes wise I don't feel you can just take it as law offa ya mamma's words in passing. Not to say you all don't have wonderful beautiful moms.

those were my lanvins and BV's...
as for lanvin, you can get them at barneys... retail is $860 for the strapped highs, but they do have 1-day F&F sale where you can get 40% off.
i picked up those bottega veneta highs at the BV store on rodeo, haven't seen them anywhere else.
hope that helps.
Do you know if I can apply for a card when I visit saks and still get 50% off?Originally Posted by Tic Daddy Dollaz
just a heads up, i went to saks today and they were having an extra 50% off sale items if you use you saks card. i got a pair of a-cups, and some ferragamo sneakers for under $250.
