as for the black suit statement i disagree, personally i find black to be the most versatile suit colour, throw in some silver pinstripes and to me thats a perfect business attire suit (especially when women wear black pinstripe jacket with a skirt and glasses... (dont ask)), to me black matches more then navy as well as i cant see many dudes pulling off a navy suit with like lime green button up etc where as black can go with literally any colour, the right gray suit tho is
as well
Sorry but he is correct with black being too formal and not too versatile at all. A black suit with a silver tie and white shirt is borderline tux territory. Most people even just use a black suit for black tie events now too. Partner up a black suit with a dark shirt and your on waiter territory. A navy or charcoalis much more versatile, the same that a brown shoe is a bit more versatile that black. A lime green shirt with a navy suit may look weird but seriously, a limegreen shirt itself is weird and difficult to pull off. Navy matches with almost anything without being too formal. If you want a borderline black suit, get amidnight blue.

He's one of the few designers that constently combines quality with creativity and class, whether it's a tailor suit, denim, or a leather bomber.
I've been a PS fan for years now. I've seen some of their Red Ear items, I like the jackets mostly. I'm not a big jeans buff so I don't have any interest much in selvage or raw denim, I am pretty happy with my 514's. I am actually in the process of acquiring a few mroe shoes from PS since they have had their 50% off sale this past 2 weeks now. The damn shoes I want eludes me though.
