Nah B. If you put MJ #1, you put Kobe #2. EXACT SAME PLAYER
no.... kobe does NOT have the same pure touch from midrange. it's good, but no one has the same touch as Jordan. do you know how many times he pulled up midrange in the playoffs AT WILL when a bucket was needed? Jordan just had that WILL to win in the playoffs. look at his playoff numbers. kobe is NOT the exact same player..... Carmelo has a closer midrange game to Jordan than kobe. putting kobe above wilt and erving would be a major insult to them. do you know what those guys did for the game?

Where is Julius Erving?

erving and wilt are 2nd and 3rd, no debating. Russell 4th the rest it's a toss up
Dr J is right around 14th below Shaq and Hakeem. Great player, one of the greatest showmen ever, never won a Finals MVP and didn't win the title with the Sixers till Moses came along.

Next question?

forget about ranking 1 through 10

who would be your top 5 for a pickup game

pg - lebron
sg - MJ
sf - bird
pf - russell
c - Kareem

Respectfully disagree. I think the Mamba is a better jump shooter than MJ ever was. Definitely came into the league with a better jumper than MJ. MJ became murder in the post, but he was never a guy who you feared would kill you shooting jumpers. If you got MJ to shoot jumpers, you were winning defensively, imo.

Doesn't matter what they did to the game. I hate when people use that argument that just because they did it first, they are better.

We gonna argue that a 1969 Mustang is better than a 2014 Mustang?

I can understand not putting Kobe #2. But you're really gonna put Wilt and Erving over Magic?

All that matters is the quote from Phil Jackson, the only person who knows both players very well. He said they are the exact same player except Kobe was a better ball handler.

Kobe Bryant is the most SKILLED player of all time, pound for pound. Regardless of athleticism and stuff, he is the most SKILLED.

Dude REALLY put Dr J #2/3.

And this is coming from a lifelong sixers fan

Nah B, Math problems are way better than this. You're just not technical savvy

you have this confused. winning does not make a better player. Winning combined with pure, Unique basketball skill does imo. Anyone can throw the ball in to shaq and win. The things dr. j did, even back to his playground days..... that is one of the most special players ever imo. how dare you EVER put him below shaq

. shaq was good, but shaq wasn't really basketball skill and talent. neither is LeBron. just big and strong. I don't judge players by if they win or not. It certainly adds to their resume, but it isn't a deciding factor.

I was thinking early 2000, completely forgot about him.

And no, not a true statement.

Kobe was better in 2010, KD was better this year.

Kobe better in 2010... In which category? Cause Lebron outclassed him in almost most category. Should have won the MVP that year, but they felt bad for Rose since Lebron won the mvp 2 in a row already.
