removing the free remote raid passes was fine, it wasnt suppose to be a forever gift

the dumb move was limiting how many you can use per day (i think it was 3 or 5 at most per day) then raising its prices while also forcing people to go outside and play which is dumb

been to some of those in person raids and no one else would show up so why the hell would i keep doing that if it keeps happening?

they assume everyone who plays got a group of 20 players deep when me, my brother and our friend can play heavy but us 3 just isnt enough to beat those type or raids

just idiotic moves all around

they were printing $$$ by letting people raid as much as possible during raid days or if someone really wants to max their big hitters

hatch day has got to be one of the dumbest event yet




first of all, they decided to do it in scorching heat and at 2pm its like the hottest time of the day and they force you to walk and hatch eggs (i get it the rest of the world isnt hot but whatever)

second, pokestops/gym spis doesnt guarantee a 2km egg (ive gotten a couple of 5km, why?) and 2km isnt always guaranteed a riolu (small chance another mon hatches but ive gotten it once)

third, shiny chance is still too small for the event, ive hatched 27 and got 1 and while thats good odds during community day when you are catching hundreds of mons, its terrible when you got to walk 2km to hatch and spin stops in 95 degree heat and you got to use incubators as resource to hatch more than one at a time

fourth, speaking of incubators, they give you one for free and not much else for the event so you got to spend gold if you want to participate

fifth, these aholes doesnt even bother to lower the hatch distance, how about half? hatches at 1km? give us something greedy bastards

sixth, not eve guaranteed xl candy, again, give us something here you stingy sumabeets

seventh, niantic really f'n up an cash cow with this dumb "we want you out there getting dehydrated and passing out due the heat" crap

Me and the lady went out, each hatched bout 20 eggs and I got 3 she got none. Definitely should of halved the egg distance.

common complaint is that its not hatch/community day its hatch/community hours. 3 hours only is pretty dumb.

routes is another dumb move by niantic

they make a special research mainly using route but they havent rolled it out to everyone so not everyone can make a route and then when people to make it, it needs to be approved so you got to wait (some in beta says theirs hasnt been approved for weeks)

so you cant finish the challenge at all because the feature isnt readily available

my craziest was when i was at santa monic apier and a dragonite showed up a bit off and you dont even whats going on, people just started running like there was a gunshot and started running off to the side towards a dark beach running through the sand

I remember when it first launched. People would head over to The Pike in Downtown Long Beach, near the lighthouse, in the evening. Huge crowds of people would show up back then. There was this one night where a Lapras was spotted, but it was on the other side of the bay. People ran on the bridge to reach the other side to go catch it and that bridge is almost 3/4 of a mile long!!

great spot for community days, been there for a few just circling the lighthouse loop a few times.

weird though, i did not get a shiny dialga but got 4 shiny palkias but very few spacial rend

niantic f'd up even more though, during last weeks LA tour, both were getting the special moves so they made it seem like thats how its going to be but nope, some people are getting the non-chosen special move at a rate of 1/30 which sucks

15+ raids of each $$ spent on remote passes and I got one shiny Palkia, and a shiny Shinx yesterday smh

They messed up the wording on the pass too everyone assumed the special research would give you a free encounter at the end, nope it just chooses the move.

i mean they could have just made all raids palkia and dialga and their origins forms alternating but they dont want you sitting in one location that has multiple gyms within walking distance so they put 1 star raids and 3 star raids of the hisuan mons that no one really cared for in there too so if you want to maximize your raiding, you gon have to pay for the remote raid passes which they removed the limit for the weekend

also why they didnt give the non-chosen dragon good odds at getting the special move so later on they can charge for it by choosing the other path but they didnt tell most until its too late, they could have given it 50/50 odds but nope, why would they give players anything when they can capitalize on it later
