I don't do much battling but if u get coins everytime u assign a Pokemon to a gym, wouldn't it be better to get a friend from a different team, take over a gym, assign a really weak Pokemon and keep taking over the gym from each other? Unless there's a cap or limit I'm not aware of, u can get coins every few min instead of waiting 21 hrs with holding a gym. I'm sure there's some info I'm missing or people already do this.

I believe that your Pokémon has to be in the gym at the time you are claiming the coins. Also, you can only collect once every 21 hours or whatever it is. So if you take over a gym, leave a defender, then have your friend beat you, and you take it over again, that would still only count as one gym takeover in terms of coin/dust collecting.

I can see a gym from my house and check it everyone once and awhile, seen that someone took it over but there was only 2 pokemon so i walked over and left my gyrados. An hour later it's now a level 7 gym, more coins tomorrow hopefully.

Saw my first Squirtle yesterday, NT fam! It has trash IVs and 3xx CP, but I didn't care. I caught that SOB... finally have it in my dex.

I think I'm gonna crack open my second Lucky Egg this evening... currently lvl 19, looking forward to getting that Ultra Ball at lvl 20. Also going to try out Incense for the first time next weekend when I'm walking around on campus before the game.

You won't be able to find a starter with good IVs because of the pokemon # "bug". Your best bet is to hatch them from a 2 km egg.

I'm trying to do the same as I have at least 150+ candies for Bulbasaur and Squirtle, but I keep hatching ******* weedles n caterpies n ish

I'd check his IVs first. My starter's IVs were trash.
