Sort of happy with our signings today, especially Pat Chung and Sopoaga. I'm just nervous because we all know how the last time we signed a lot of free agents went.

Now we just need to pick up my dude Matt Elam in the draft and the duo of Kurt Coleman and Nate Allen are finito. :x

I was :x when I first heard we signed Casey, esp. for that contract. But I think Kelly can get the most out of him as a hybrid FB/TE.

Love the Chung singing, but Sopoaga so so just because of his age. Bradley Fletcher though?

well we needed a NT.. and i doubt we would go star at 4, so this allows us to wait til the 3rd or 4th

and dont forget, with us cutting nnamdi we have something like 44 mill in cap space

i think that's more about trying get zona or buffalo to try and trade up.. like the vikings and browns last year (with trent richardson)

to move up 1 spot, the browns traded the following picks, along with the 4th: Nos. 118, 139 and 211 overall

^ i think jordan can be special in our new D.. but then again we can get someone like jamie collins in the 3rd

the potential of shariff and cox together could be epic.. both can play the 3 and 5 techs in our 3 man fronts (since both can hold up against the run and rush the passer).. and because both are good pass rushers, they can be our DTs in our 4 man fronts (and we would still be pretty good against the run)

also, fisher and joeckel might be slightly devalued in our blocking system (making shariff or jordan higher on our board).. IF skip brings the philosophy he had at oregon with him..

lane johnson MIGHT actually be a better fit for us, then joeckel or fisher.. since skip wants someone to attack off the line quickly, then disengage and get on the second level to provide more blockers for runners

plus there should be some pretty talented guys available at the top of the 2nd.. i guess we just have to determine where the biggest dropoff in talent is, position wise

i like what we're doing now, getting buy low guys who might have some upside.. and we're not throwing a ton of money out there.. i think we'll get a safety in the 2nd or 3rd.. and who knows, we might pick up another FA there

the only older guy we picked up was sopoaga.. and that was an obvious need, since we really dont have a NT on the roster.. so now we have him and we can get someone in the 3rd, 4th or 5th

also, milliner could definitely be in play for us at 4 depending on what chip wants to do with the Oline..

let's say jax goes with jordan at 2 and then the raiders take shariff at 3... OR if buffalo or arizona trade up to get geno

IF jordan is there at 4 and joeckel is off the board, I'd like to see the eagles draft him. Wouldn't mind seeing milliner either, he's got good instincts and can break up a lot of passes with those long arms. I'd be happy with any of Jordan, Joeckel, or Milliner. I think Joeckel gives best value though, jordan definitely has the highest ceiling.

i'm hoping the cards and bills get in a bidding war for 4 (so they can get geno) and we can end up with one of their 2nd round pick along with whatever else we can get..

then at 7 or 8 we can get (1) jordan or (2) milliner
