The #Eagles have had 49 takeaways but it doesn't even matter because they've turned the ball over 56 times the past 2 seasons.

Kyle@IgglesNest 21h21 hours ago

The #Eagles have forced 49 takeaways (2nd) and had 14 return TDs (1st) over the past 2 seasons. Not enough to overcome QB play.

Kyle@IgglesNest 21h21 hours ago

How do you waste TOs & return TDs? With a mediocre passing game that turns the ball over more than anyone else. http://www.pro-football-reference.c...c5gtlt=lt&c6mult=1.0&c6comp=&order_by=pass_td

Kyle@IgglesNest 21h21 hours ago

Since 2011, the #Eagles lead the league in turnovers with 150. Next closest is NYJ with 142 and then Tampa with 134.

and for those focusing on our problems on offense and talk of "predictability".. that goes on the QB

this is what our offense is supposed to be:

If they stack the box, pass. If they have a numbers advantage in the box, run. It has been like this for 3 years.

it's why pass catchers have to be blockers.. and rbs have to be able to catch, ditto TEs

but you end up with this with terrible decision makers:

Mind-blowing that Chip willingly admits that defenses dictate what the Eagles do offensively. Good offenses make the defense adjust to them.

We were suppose to have the favorable schedule and go 3-0 before facing the pats

What a joke

nothing more can be said that we haven't all said before. In the end it comes down to talent, we are severely lacking it on the offensive side of the ball which results in the terrible decision making and playcalling. No team that trots out Miles Austin and Riley Cooper for a majority of the plays can be successful in this league

and I don't care what Chip says, the playcalling has not been the same as his previous years. There was way more creativity in his first season. I haven't seen stacked receiver sets, linemen split out wide, or any of that this season.

I'm starting to get an Al Golden vibe from Chip :x

Granted he's 1000x the coach the he is but the arrogance and stubbornness is alarming

Good chance that we go 5-11 ..if that's the I hope USC offers him 10 million and he bounces

SiriusXM NFL Radio
‏@SiriusXMNFL "All signs point to Chip Kelly and the Eagles parting ways after this season. I think they're both sick of each other"

@AdamSchefter

if chip bounces :x look what he did to this team man.

In hindsight, I thought all the players that are no longer here Vick, DJax, Shady, J Mac, were all assets that attracted Chip to come coach here.

I mean, what other options are out there? Sean McDermott 8o

don't get carried away with that Scheftbomb tho
here is the quote transcribed:

“I think momentum and signs seem to be piling up against a Chip Kelly return to Philadelphia. I think both sides are sick of each other. I think the fans are tired of him. I think he’s tired of the situation there. (That’s) just my read, from afar. That stadium began emptying early in the fourth quarter. It was an ugly scene.”

“They are still in the thick of that division race, let’s not forget that. If they go to Detroit on that Thanksgiving Day (and win), we’ll have a different conversation next week. I just think that Chip Kelly, if given a choice, might be comfortable elsewhere. I certainly would include him in my question marks at coaches that we’ll be tracking in January. I think we can say that.”

Now y'all starting to realize what this man did to this team ?

The only player that is gone that we should want back is maclin.. But his contract is kinda ridiculous

The problem wasn't trading shady.. The problem was paying Demarco

The problem wasn't trading foles.. It was trading the 2nd round pick in the deal for Bradford

The problem wasn't cutting Cary.. It was signing Maxwell to big money

All ******** aside, the moves Chip made were all good moves at the time, just none of them panned out like we expected (Maxwell, DeMarco, Kiko, Bradford). Had all of em performed to expectations, Chip would be the savior. That's just how it is. If Chips leaves, the team would be in the same exact situation before Reid signed and drafted Donovan (elite pieces on D, question marks on offense) but I'm giving him one more year to build his own offense.

Chip improved the defense drastically if nothing else

I think his problem is his ability to evolve as an NFL coach offensively

I just think his options offensively have been limited by his QBs deficiencies.. Inaccuracy and pour decision making

I mean seriously after some of the dumb stuff we have seen out of foles, Bradford and Sanchez these last two seasons would any of you ask them to do anything overly complicated?

Then you add in all the drops.. I think he's just turning it down and hoping guys can do the simple stuff

who told him to trade for an injury prone QB tho , those are all his moves .

I think shurmur pushed it.. We needed a QB.. Shurmur scouted him and watched him firsthand that first year in St. Louis..

It was a gamble.. It didn't work

Foles' 27-2 year killed us.. Carr would have been a good look.. I prefer him over teddy because of arm strength and weather and all that

You really need to let it go man , cant keep going in for your head coach like that , dude is really stubborn and that ego is not gonna get him far at all .

Chip the GM screw this team big time .

Shurmur being OC at that time in St. Louis, is a fact

Him being the OC here, again a fact

Foles throwing 27 tds and only have 2 INTs the season before Carr/teddy were available around our pick in that draft, again a fact

Lol cant one say that if none of them panned out they werent good moves then?

Moves were fine in a Vaccum ..but when you don't use them in the right capacity you get what we have. Bill Davis has no clue how to get the best out of Maxwell and good luck with having him get Kiko involved when they are still in love with Demeco for whatever reason

Weve discussed how he refuses to use Demarco the right way and just LOL on Bradford

Still can't believe they fleeced us for a 2nd

let's be real, Kendricks and Kiko looked terrified of contact against the Bucs. Especially Kiko, while Demeco may be on his last legs he at least will get his head in there and go at a lineman. We are severely missing Jordan Hicks, he did it all :x

I am not convinced this is a "bad" team, they might not be contenders but they have the ability to win the NFC East

Chip as a coach has really failed, you can't keep doing the same thing over and over again with this personal, you signed Demarco Murray as the GM and you got Sam Bradford...

stop running out of shotgun and doing zone red BS and put these two in a position to succeed, it's like he's doing the opposite of what he should be doing.
