People that owe you money

He only asked for $18 if course he was trying to scam you. A real one would've asked for the whole $20
I just figured it was for a parking garage or a restaurant, for it to be a specific amount like that but w/e

Last ***** owed me money up and moved out of the southside of Phoenix to Cali.

I’ll leave it at that. ****** who know me personally know this.

I don’t play with my ends.

This may sound ****ed up, but cut off people in your life who do not have their **** together. Anyone can be down on their luck sometimes, I am referring to people who are always having problems.
I got a homeboy with a gambling problem and he swears he doesn't have a problem. He'll be on vacation on Tuesday then will ask me for 50 on Thursday. He was even crashing with me for a month and was all hype telling me about bets he placed. Took everything in me not to check him. I remember he got back from Vegas and his car got repod the same week. Definitely considered cutting him off.

I'm getting closer and closer to that point. I have friends that simply don't respect their money and then hint towards needing help at the month. Money management is damn near a personality trait.

I wouldn’t let anyone borrow a sizeable amount of money without getting things and terms signed and in writing. And if the party borrowing the money doesn’t want to agree to that, they either don’t need the money that bad or intend on being difficult when it comes to repaying said money on the time agreed to.

You are beyond nice for loaning that amount. And I'm either to get you are pretty comfortable if you were that cool about it.

never again... and peep this. He JUST asked me for $300 the other day. I AINT GOT IT, PATNA!!!”

hard thing to do is when your homies have some type of hustle or selling something where they are actually providing something instead of just asking for money but you don't believe or want the product.
my homie became a vegan about a year ago (more power to him) but he is trying to sell me sea moss. homemade at that...i wan't to help him out especially at times like these but it goes against my nature of buying **** i don't need or want

🤦🏾‍♂️ Dude got problems.

Dude has 2019 E class benz.... always in the streets. Has tons of friends. Runs with mh cousins/his brother-in-laws.... but always asking me for money   . It’s hilarious.

I must be about to come across some big money soon   . I’m very modest (except my clothes and shoes) I never flaunt or flash money. But people assume I got it.

Yeah **** that. I had a relative on my pops side ask to borrow money before. I didn’t do it because I noticed his spending habits were consistently poor and he was constantly in debt struggling to pay his current expenses. A few days later I see him post something along the lines of “not all family is family” and then another post about “snakes in the grass”.

I cut the dude off completely after that. I wasn’t real close with him to begin with. But him throwing his little social media subliminal tantrums after not getting what he wanted said all I needed to know.

But like damn. You hit up a relative instead of going to a loan or payday loan company because either A. You won’t get approved by them or B. You don’t like their terms and conditions and know they’ll take you to collections and possibly mess up your already bad credit if you don’t pay on time consistently, so you hit a relative up hoping they’ll work with you on your terms despite all the red flags being there. ****s crazy lol.

Not exactly related but my homeboy somehow got into acting. Independent films around the city and such. I love him like a brother but that ain't it for him. He'll send us movies he's in in the group chat and none of us watch them lol smh

You just gonna have let him know man to man. Sounds like he has money but spends it frivolously... hoping someone like you will bail him out. You gotta call that behavior out or else you're just enabling it.

I done told his a**** how greedy he is. That’s why I dislike money hungry people around me. They’ll do anything for a buck. Nagging and begging. A money hungry person is the WORSE person

Did something similar when I was working retail at Lids when I was younger. Some dude owed me $40 and was just giving run around about paying for months. He came in the store one day trying to buy a hat. In my head I was thinking if he tries to pay with cash, Ima take the money, he has some nerve trying to come in here and buy **** when he owes me. He pulled two 20’s out, I took the money like I was going to ring him up and pocketed it and said that’s what you owe me. If you want the hat I’ll need another $34 cash and I’ll ring it up. He started crying about how I “stole his money” and he was going to talk to mall management lmao. The store had no cameras, I was the manager, so it was basically my word and my coworkers (all friends of mine) against his. A few years later he tried to hit me up acting all apologetic but I didn’t pay it no mind.

As for letting people borrow money. Close friends and family only. I’m real big on transparency though. If they’re running behind or stuff comes up, I can live with that. But take the initiative to tell me. I shouldn’t have to chase you down.

Man **** that dude. Good for you.

Here’s a story of someone owing me money: in college one of my classmate had owed me over $645. When that refund check from school hit, I never got a penny of it. I asked him one time about it, he acted as if I did it as a favor. Of course, we exchanged words.

Fast forward, 4 months later, I pretended to let it go..all cool and nonchalant. I asked to borrow his car - made a copy of his key.

Another month later, he was sick one day (with the flu). I went over to check up on him. Called my homies...Next thing you know...his car was found in my hood stripped and burned.

Got my money back

And he knew it was me and couldn’t do nothing. Just know, it was his last year there.
How do I get in contact with you and your boys if I need a job done?

How do you just casually ask another man for $300 after you just paid him back 2gs?
It just makes relationships sticky. Naturally you wanna share good news with your people when you come up but some people just want to mooch.

it baffles me bro. And like I said, he has a new benz that he can barely take care of.
